Can someone tell me if this will be a sad ending? Given FL is a ghost and ML is a human, I'm scared it might be a sad ending. I've watched the first episode and I'm liking it, but I'm scared of the ending.
After watching till ep29, I best like the first 15 episodes. The village setting and their slow life there, the slow burn romance between the leads, all this was going so well. But suddenly the story started jumping scenes and it got harder to keep up with the storyline. Their relationship also started becoming boring with them going back and forth in their relationship. I really don't vibe with the leads anymore. I loved their characters when they were still in the village. After they showed the ML in his actual identity as a marquis, and his plans in action, like not letting the laborers know that the dam they were building was meant to be collapsed and that they were going to die, I really don't like him as much anymore. Only the secret of the heir of Eastern Palace and the FL's dad's backstory is keeping me going at this point.
Master Qi - "When the Six sects act, we distinguish right from wrong. If it's right, we will do it however hard it might be. If it's wrong, we won't do it, whatever the benefit is". Lol! I literally spit out my water. The self-justification here is just next level🙄.
Edit: Knew that Yuqi family was twisted, here Yuqi's dad proved it. He just can't stand being rejected, I guess. Actually, the real heroes are quietly doing their job and putting their skills to work- fighting for justice and rescuing people". The ones who are going on and on about revenge and blood feud and all that bs are the rejected ones, lol!
I feel so sad for Gu Zigui for what he went through. I can't begin to imagine how crazy it must be to be locked up somewhere and beaten everyday just to sign some stupid "surrender" agreement. How much he must've suffered to write those words in blood. But one thing doesn't feel right, how can Aunt Pingshu look all so young while he had aged so much? I understand being in subhuman conditions might've caused him to age a lot faster, but still Aunt looking all so young feels very unreal to me. The writer has almost given God status to Aunt now. Saving everyone with super heroic powers and never ageing one bit, lol!
I'm finding Zhou family (FL's fiancé family) to be very fishy. What if Mr. Zhou is the masked man? They have given enough information about all other sect leaders except for Zhou family. Mr. Zhou married his wife exactly on the day FL's aunt went for battle, as if he knew she wouldn't survive. Whenever something suspicious happens Zhou Yuqi vanishes. He tagged along with FL to Chang fort but left mid-way saying he was going to see the physician. He came back after the attack on them was over. His family is set on marrying him to the FL despite him being in love with someone else. Why are they so desperate to get them both married if not for making the FL stay away from the martial arts world? Though Qi Yunke is the biggest suspect in my head, I can't shake off my suspicion on the Zhou family.
episode 4... I am so confused. I always take a while to remember all the names and sects and details, but it's…
Me too!! Just finished ep4 but feels like running a marathon. Though the story is good and intriguing, the editing is pretty choppy, and the pacing is too fast. No time to process all the info overload.
In the beginning of the first episode and the editing is all over the place. I'm not understanding anything. Is she telling the flashback, or is it happening in current times? And why are they jumping scenes like that?
Qinxiang is so annoying. Despite causing the death of her benefactor, she still keeps secrets from the ML and FL. She keeps the drug seller's identity secret from them. Honestly, I don't pity her. She could have very well chosen to not sell that drug powder to her clients, but she did it to attract clients and keep them going back to her. She could also have chosen to stop serving clients, once she realized that she had a deadly illness. She could use her savings to start a new life elsewhere, as she didn't even have anyone dependent on her. But she decided to keep it a secret out of her own selfishness. And even after so much happened, she still doesn't share the whole truth with Chu Chu. She is insufferable.
In ep34, and the ML is disappointing me. He started off as one of the greenest flag MLs, but after their marriage he slowly started turning into a red flag. And in ep34, he literally is behaving crazy like Shu. I honestly don't see any difference between them at this point. Both are harming innocent people for their obsession and threatening the FL. I hated it when he threatened to kill that cute assistant guy.
So, the main villain is that scriptwriter, I guess. He revived CGH's Dad who now has the whole knowledge of the script, that's why he could save CGH. Now, he is still trying to get his "iconic" scenes happen through CGH and his Dad, because NH defied "fate" by using the script's rules against itself and changed the iconic scene. I swear that scriptwriter is perverted as his obsession with his "iconic scenes" is so weird! Like why on earth is he so stubborn to make them happen even if they don't go along with the script?!
In the starting of ep28 and I wish a horrible death on the second ML. I never hated a 2ml as much as him. You know why he is so despicable? Because he is the kind of person to believe anything which supports his twisted narratives. He is extremely hypocritic and self-righteous. He doesn't care about truth, morals or anything, as long as anyone says something which validates his twisted feelings about someone, he worships them. If someone challenges his f**ked up narratives, they become his enemy. Though he knows deep inside that he might be wrong, he doesn't want to accept that he is wrong, so he will do anything to continue clinging onto his false perceptions, including hurting innocent people.
He was like this since his childhood. He wanted someone to blame for his "beloved" aunt's death, so he decided to simply blame it on the ml. Though deep inside he knows that he might be wrong, he'll self-manipulate himself to keep believing that he is right, just because it's easy for him to do that rather than to try to seek the truth. He reminds me of Hwa Jin from Mr. Queen; both will scapegoat others for their mistakes as they think too highly of themselves, while actually being a complete POS in reality.
Song yiting is the biggest bitch of the year ...she acted like a noble lady and got friends with someone who backbite…
I really don't like her. Yes, she is intelligent and all, but she is very selfish. Even after being rejected, she decided to drug him and do the deed. Like just because she is desperate, she is willing to cause harm to someone else. She said that she loved him, how could she do that to someone whom she claimed to love? And her mom is double worse, her audacity to actually blame the FL for what her daughter did! I despise her!
I feel sorry for the FL. The way her hand dropped when she saw that the iconic scene came true... poor her. I really don't understand that scriptwriter's obsession with those "iconic" scenes, like why is he so obsessed with keeping them? Honestly all those so called "iconic scenes" were just so stupid, so why be so adamant to keep them?
it just flashbacks to show that nan heng gave yiting the hidden letter.
Exactly, SYM waiting outside and asking him what happened is what felt out of place. I legit thought the first scene was just her imagination after they showed the second scene.
it just flashbacks to show that nan heng gave yiting the hidden letter.
So which scene is real, the first one or the second one? Because those 2 scenes look very isolated from each other. There is no way the fl would leave her sister with NH alone after seeing them like that. And the cut to the second scene is... abrupt? Like they suddenly show fl and 2ml waiting outside and the ml bringing her sister in his arms, and all of them are chill suddenly? And they believe his lie that her sister met bandits? Like I don't understand.
Can someone explain me what's happening in ep22? Didn't the FL find NH with half his clothes and her fainted sister in his arms and misunderstand the situation? Then why did they show another completely different scene afterwards with a caption "1 day ago"? I'm confused.
I swear the dolphins kissing reminded me of the birds kissing in the long ballad, not showing the actual kiss…
I don't understand, why are they not showing the actual kiss? They did this in LBFAD too. The bts scenes of their kisses were WAY better than the ones included in the drama.
All the cdramas are showing cloudfare streaming violation of some kind.
For me its showing "network error midway". Only half a video is playing. And I think it's better to put the comment in spoiler, or else the site can be taken down.
Omg THANK YOU!! I wish I could like this a million times. The misogynistic double standards on here can be so…
You're welcome. Agree, the comments justifying the ml are very tiring. Some are not even bothering to READ what's written and are just saying whatever they want to say. Just ignore them.
