These two and their visuals. ❤️ I’m expecting nothing less than fire. 🔥Someone please post a link within 2.5 seconds of its airing. 🤣

I actually thought they had good chemistry.I used to find her awkward in intimate scenes but the ones in this…
So glad you saw their chemistry, it unfortunately wasn't as obvious to me. Maybe my expectations let me down because I’ve really enjoyed their connections with other leads and thus I know they’re both capable of creating fire. 😂 I enjoyed the storyline though, even though some of the plots were pretty ridiculous, I seem to always enjoy a dark edged “twin” show in which a lead plays both roles well. (Wish it had been utilized more here.) Agree that some of the supporting roles were flat, but I still think the chemistry was flatter. Maybe I just need to grab a gin smash and try watching it again later. 🤣

Maybe it’s just me, but as a fan of both leads I was bit disappointed in their lack of chemistry here. They both look like they’re a little awkward or hesitant acting out some of their scenes together. Storyline was really interesting to be honest, but I just didn’t feel a strong connection to them as a couple. 😢 I wish Yang Shu Yu took more roles in which she smiled, she seems to frequently take on characters that are really downcast, it would be nice to see her portraying expressive characters more often. Liu Yu Hang played his dual roles well, (twins with very different personalities,) but I’ve honestly enjoyed all of his other shows/characters more. Watch for the interesting storyline though, hopefully other viewers will see what I may have missed between the leads. 🤔

This couple has a very sweet, loving relationship with a lot of physical touch and kisses, they have a very organic chemistry that was cute and sometimes fiery to watch. Would have rated it higher, but the FL’s ex had too much of the plot centered around him, (it’s one of those situations in which he lingers constantly and he refuses to believe that the FL actually left him and married another man.) Watch it as long as you don’t mind seeing a delusional ex that for the ENTIRE show constantly tries to put himself in the FL’s sights and belittles her when he does see her. There’s no real intense plot device other than that for the leads, it’s literally just the FL’s ex and his persistent interference to win her back, there’s certainly no room for a love triangle, she’s fully committed to her new spouse and refuses any relationship with the ex. Midway through the viewing, I was hoping that the writers would also introduce some kind of intrigue with the ML’s family to divert the plot away from the annoying ex, but alas, no. He just continued to pop up in front of her, her husband, or her obnoxious family members. That said, it is worth watching for quite a few reasons: the leads adorable interactions together, their relationship growth, the respect that they have for each other, and how they maturely cope with the ML’s physical health issues.

This is (by far,) Zhang Ji Jun’s best role yet. He was absolutely mesmerizing while playing a physically ill and emotionally charged character. Then you add in the absolute obsession he had with the slightly older FL and all of his clingy, loving behavior, combined with his desire to protect her at all costs….well, he was just dreamy here. Most of the time I just wanted to keep him safely ensconced in bubble wrap to preserve him as the perfect ML specimen. 😂❤️ And (as always,) Meng Na is an acting force to be reckoned with. She was a wonderful match and I love it when she takes on the part of a strong, smart, vengeful FL. This viewing is on the longer side, but it never really drags, and some of the supporting roles are fabulous, including her mother. Worth the watch, maybe even a rewatch in the future. 👏

Enjoyed nearly everything about this one….UNTIL the halfway point revealed the ridiculous trope of the FL’s friend pretending to be her in order to snag the ML. I don’t mind shows with purposeful hidden identities, flash marriages, benign green teas, simple misunderstandings, etc. But when plots start throwing in things like manipulative lifelong friends, secret pregnancies, false DNA tests or ridiculous kidnappings, my brain cells go into overdrive and my head explodes. 😂 In a cute show already filled with so many tropes, adding the bad friend scenario just sent me straight to the FF button. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I reckon the dialogue between the director and the actors went much like this:

Director: “I’m gonna need you to stare at each other at the end of every scene until things get really, really awkward.”
Every actor in the series: “Our eyes are getting dry.”
Director: “Don’t worry, I’m carrying eye drops, carry on.”
Every actor in the series: “This is really weird. Should we smile, break eye contact, squint, blink a lot, wiggle our eyebrows?”
Director: “None of that, you just let your retinas steal the scene, we’re just gonna play some really bad instrumentals in the background, it will draw out the tension for the viewers.”
Every actor in the series: “Can we at least get sunglasses? The sun is really bright in some of these shots.”
Director: “Absolutely not..”

I actually love every one these introverted goofballs and I really enjoy watching all the fumbling they encounter as they sort through their feelings. I can’t find it within myself to get disappointed or mad at any of them, I can totally relate to being younger and trying to date for the first time. Granted I was a bit earlier to the game (age-wise) than these chronic singles, but STILL…I remember every cringey, mistake riddled experience. Whether it was falling for the wrong type of guy, or being totally oblivious to the nice guy that subtly flirted, or for avoiding altogether the guy that meant well but made me feel a bit uncomfortable. It all shaped me into who I would later become as a partner. Learning how to be rejected, learning how to listen to someone’s sincerity that I couldn’t return, learning how to decline a date, learning how to use my words to express how I felt about someone I liked without coming off as desperate. It hits you in the feels when you step back and remember that for most of us, these heartbreaking or awkward experiences happened earlier in life and we learned from them. For these singles, they’re feeling things for the first time, their words are scrambled because their thoughts are scrambled. I’m not judging any of them, in fact, I feel so blessed that they chose this type of forum to share their hearts and stories with all of us. I have a second-hand embarrassment type of crush on them all. 👏🫶❤️

Does the scene jumps ever stop or does it still happens until the end of the drama?
I would say that the scene jumps are poorly executed within the show, but it’s far worse at the beginning, (it improves as you get further along in the story.) It’s actually an interesting plot altogether, great for at least one viewing!

Love the FL’s character in this one, she’s bold and wait for it…she has actual BRAINS! And oh my goodness, the ML smiles more in this story than in any other vertical that he’s been in, I swear that he smiles at her every two minutes, all his teeth showing. 😂❤️🫶 They are absolutely adorable here. Zero room for any green teas or manipulative ex partners, this pair is solid together within the plot, they are two peas in a pod and it’s so cute. High rewatch value, your blood pressure will barely even boil because it’s really fun watching them dish out witty comments and well deserved justice towards all their antagonists, they’re no match for this perfect duo.

Title He Is Unruly Spoiler
Plot Synopsis: First, prepare for scene jumps and a very spliced up storyline that can be confusing. Basic synopsis is that the FL is a famous actress, but she suffers major depression from her childhood, ongoing professional competition and her rejection filled love life, so she self harms. She transmigrates into the script of a drama that she happened to be reviewing before she died. In the drama, she plays the 2nd FL, a woman who is also a actress, but with a brutal personality that bankrupts and prolongingly kidnaps/tortures the ML until he eventually escapes and takes revenge by killing her. Knowing that she’s transmigrated into a disturbing plot, the FL decides that she won’t continue to have her character depicted as evil, and she lets the wounded ML go, giving him 10 million dollars and wishing him a lifetime of happiness instead. She then completely disappears. The ML himself is traumatized, he comes from a very troubled background, both his parents died when he was young and he was sent to a mental institution by his remaining family. While he eventually goes on to regain his career and wealth after she releases him, he is still very troubled by the way he was tortured by her initially and can’t figure out why she had a sudden personality change, going from brutal to kind. He finds her three years later and he really wants revenge. But while they’re both under an attack from thugs, she throws herself in the way to save him from a blow and she gets critically injured instead, causing amnesia. And that’s where the story picks up, she now has no memory of ever harming him and doesn’t even realize that she’d transmigrated into a drama three years prior. He and his employees are now the ones giving care for her. Hope this helps….wish I’d known because I was so confused watching it, the editing is honestly horrible, but the storyline is wonderful.

I’ve nearly laughed myself into a coma with this one. Best one I’ve seen starring Gao Ming as the ML. This comic role he plays really suits him here, his timing and expressions are stellar. FL is a strong match and together they’re pretty stinkin’ adorable. Worth a rewatch!

On Heart Pairing Jun 8, 2025
For a show that pitches itself as a dating program filled with participants who want to date with potential marriage in mind, I found it hysterical that the last set of dates were arranged via messaging with a “First come, first served” rule by production. Like these professional singles needed to be lining up for a limited time pizza buffet or something instead of being paired with who they thoughtfully and maturely selected and matched with. 😂 In what universe is that realistic for newly developing relationships? As soon as that messaging scene was over, I turned to my spouse and asked him how he’d feel if dating me at the beginning of our relationship meant that it was first come, first served. He got quiet for a second, his smile widened and then we both had tears streaming from our eyes from laughing so damn hard. Ridiculous rules, manipulative gameplay. But here I am, still hooked. 😂

I should never have watched this at 11pm, I’ve woken everyone in the house up from laughing so damn loud. Even my cats are pissed. 😂 Two thumbs up for this chaotic duo and storyline, this is the vertical I never knew that I needed in my life, but I’m so grateful I stumbled upon because it’s HYSTERICALLY CUTE. Immediately going on my rewatch list.

Gah! These two are really cute together. It doesn’t take long for the words “I love you” to come out of both of their mouths after they were reintroduced, it happened so fast that I had whiplash, it was so chaotic a scene and then it got real steamy. 😂❤️ And thank goodness the FL doesn’t act ridiculously timid or horrified the next morning, she’s actually just the right amount of shy and curiously bold when she wakes up beside him. And cheers for this being one of the rare verticals in which the couple remains affectionate towards one another throughout. I’m not really fond of hidden identity tropes, but because the FL is so independent, successful and assertive from the get-go, the wealthy ML deeply respects her. He doesn’t hide his identity from her because he’s fearful that she’d use him just for his money or title, he hides it because he’s actually afraid that she’ll leave him if she knows that he’s rich, (after she mistakenly believes that he’s down on his luck and deserving of her help and support.) Sure, there are some typical tropes thrown in, and some scenes with the antagonists are overly “talky”, but I could overlook it because the cast was fun, especially the ML’s family, who are just as adorable and quirky as he is.

Title I Will Seek You Out Spoiler
Wanted to rate it higher, because the premise was outstanding and the acting was great as well. However, the writing…
FL continually lies to the ML about her identity AND also the paternity of their child, even when the ML is absolutely begging for her to tell the truth and she sees him totally devastated by her refusals and denials. He often has tears in his eyes, bereft on many occasions, and she even uses the 2ML as a (willing) party in several scenes to avoid telling the ML the truth about the actual paternity, and she sees how gutted it makes him when she does it. This didn’t sit well with me, as the ML hadn’t done anything wrong to deny him the right of paternity, he was so caring, and very loving towards their child whenever he saw her. He also never stopped loving the FL, despite his strong suspicions that she was habitually lying to him about everything. I’ve seen quite a few verticals in which the farce of false (or denied) paternity is used, but this one was overdone, the FL’s denials went on until nearly the end and the ML was so ready and willing to simply love and protect his daughter. It was agonizing to watch his character be so hurt by the FL’s continued dishonesty. The reasoning behind all her lies didn’t make sense to me, it was clear that had she just been honest from the get-go about her experiences and fears, the ML would have made every effort to ensure their safety and well being. He was never written as an untrustworthy character that she should doubt, which made her lying seem far fetched.
