After watching the first three episodes, I came here anticipating positive comments from at least half of watchers, but no! 😭 Unlike almost everybody else, I fell completely in love with its comfort level, a little suspense but not too much, so far no super violent scenes, the charm of three of the main leads (finding I like them all more in this than before), and loving the dance in the rain and FL’s positive and warm vibe. There might not be anything new, but it all seems pleasant to me. So I’m posting in case anyone else is trying to decide whether to watch or not. If you’re kind of sappy and a bit sentimental like me, you might give it a shot. I can’t predict if I will finish at this point (I am completing fewer and fewer these days), but I did buy the express package, so.
First French kiss I have ever seen on a Cdrama! I can’t stand the SML attitude from the 1st ep. The “childhoods…
The ring was placed on her finger by the dying SML at their “wedding” in which she attended in chains thanks to that same SML. So 15 years later she is still wearing it, having forgiven every bad thing he did because she seemed to lose her mind at his death even though the heroic ML risked everything for her, smh.
This production isn’t merely a drama, it’s a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. Not one person came out of this greed-soaked, ambition-seeking, grasping, clawing imperfect crew with anything approaching happiness. Not one person was good except for dear Tae Yun, who was killed for his goodness by a surprisingly unveiled-at-the-last-moment psycho.
The deep depression in Dong Ju’s eyes at the end of the story mirrored my own.
What a morality tale! Neither revenge nor wealth bring joy. I get it, I get it. I fell for these terrible characters through the excellence and charm of the actors, especially Park Hyung Sik, Lee Hae Young, and Huh Joon Ho. It was an enjoyable series but heartbreaking in every sense. And what was with the gun Dong Ju held in the final scene on the boat? I didn’t dream it, did I? Why did he need a gun at that moment? Never mind, I don’t want to think about it.
Hulu USA episodes drop later than other regions. Look for them Wednesday morning at 12 am.
Okay, thanks! I did finally get episodes 11 and 12 today as Dawgma said, so I won’t read any further on here. It’s so hard to wait, especially when others get to see it earlier. But I’ll get over it!😊
Forgive me for asking this kind of question, but I am going crazy. The episode guide says episodes 11 and 12 have already appeared, and plainly you all are talking about it, but I am stuck on episode 10 with no updates yet. Hulu is not very helpful with its stock answers to questions. Has anyone else had this problem or have a suggestion for me to try? I bought the subscription for this drama! Helllppp mmmmeeeee, pleeeeezzz 😩😭
Author of “The Glory” writing the script: Puts 1,000 possible plot developments for each day’s segment on index cards and attaches them to the wall; takes a dart and blindfolds self; throws; starts typing.🤣
After episode 17, I kind of feel like someone has taken my brain and shaken it with this drama, but I’m loving every minute!
How could episode 15 be so good, start to finish? I really like this script and the actors as well. So intelligent, exciting, snarky, original, brilliant!
