Yes, they do all seem to be written this way—the ML will give his kingdom to be with an often cold, cruel (oh, but she has her “reasons”) FL, and I am tired, TIRED of it. I have never once seen this played out in real life; if a guy is rejected, he will go on to the next person until he finds someone who appreciates him—as it should be. Pining away after someone who doesn’t apparently love you back is not romantic; it’s unhealthy and most likely a mental illness. I am going to quit cdramas…one of these days, maybe, lol

I have also been worried about that little girl. I adore everything about this drama except that. When my son was small, my priority was to get home to him on time, even if I took paperwork home to do after his bedtime. It would be nice to see a dad struggle with this reality as well.

I really loved this drama at the beginning, and I think the leads are charming and adorable. The villain was the best actor of them all, imo. But the last few episodes seemed to fall apart. Nothing made sense to me but then I did start fast forwarding, so that may be why. Still, I don’t know why they made off with his father and didn’t choose to stay in the nice family home or why the couple separated for three months. Otoh, why am I looking for logic in a mini drama? Enter at your own risk!

But don’t they always survive a fall off the cliff and are fine the next day? Or have amnesia awhile, and then are fine?😁

But did you see him in Hilarious Family? He was lead there, although I’m still not sure if I liked it or not. I liked him, though; he was so funny and cute! Glad to see him again; I did not recognize him at first.

Too many of our beloved dramas would not exist if the characters were this logical.☺️

Lee Min Ho looks fabulous, like he erased 10 years! I was a little disappointed at the beginning of the first episode, because I couldn’t feel the rocket interior as real. But then it got better and better. I’m looking forward to what comes next!

She breaks up slowly over several episodes, pretending to remain in the relationship to help him save face in order to get a promotion, but ties are cut by the 6th episode. The second male lead, Wang Hao, is the one she breaks up with. I believe there will be romance with first male lead, the wonderful Wei Da Xun.

Today I binged the first five episodes and loved every minute. At last, a decent script! The writing allows long, intelligent conversations (and sometimes rants). Characters are well-rounded and believable. There are annoying people here, but they aren’t insanely one-sided as so often happens. Actors are doing well, and I enjoy the occasional insertion of the unseen narrator’s voice. Am looking forward to the FL’s journey and growth. What’s with the low rating, though?

For me, Fangs of Fortune has slipped into that category of loving grief dramas that holds Autumn in My Heart and Goodbye My Princess, the type of series that clouds my eyes when viewing a scene, a photograph, or hearing a song from the ost. I think it was kind of a masterpiece, and the acting was phenomenal from all involved. Neo Hou, though, hit another level with his expressive, luminous eyes doing all the work for him. I was already a fan, but I’m amazed with what he did in this role.

Could anyone guide me as to the ost source of the song in episode 6, where Fl enters the cave? I adore this song!

There always seems to be confusion when translating gender into English which surprises me given the brilliance in translating everything else. I can’t do any of it!

I thought he was great in My Journey to You, and I never could forget him from Maiden Holmes … Maybe he flourishes under certain types of directors? Or I often wonder if the chemistry of actors on each set affects performances. But of course, a professional will learn consistency no matter what. To me, his acting seems comparable to many of the other idol actors, and I like him a lot but won’t go crazy over anybody so as not to give myself a heart attack at my age, ha!

You have named the reason I also didn’t watch Our Interpreter. Victoria Song is a beautiful actress but makes me uncomfortable in everything she is in. To me, she seems angry all the time and makes me feel I’m going to get into trouble with the teacher (her). And I was a teacher all my adult life, haha. I don’t think anyone was ever afraid of me, though, at least I hope not.

It’s the all caps that did it. When I see all caps, I panic even if you say FREE ICE CREAM NEXT BLOCK DOWN. I would be sure a killer monster awaited and turn around. 😊
