The ending felt a bit rushed and tropy compared to the first half of the drama (more realistic and intense). I still wanted to see the leads have a heart-to- heart talk about what went wrong in their relationship previously, but I guess it was assumed that Ung understood Yeon Sun's side of the story from her grandma.
And I would've loved to see how Ungs's drawing style changed after his graduation, or maybe a glimpse of his new exhibition.
But I guess we all needed the soft healing parts at the end of the series, so I'm not complaining! I'm happy to see them get the ending they deserved, and we also got the satisfying end that we craved from this drama.^^
Dropped it in the middle! This drama is simply frustrating tbh. The male after being dumped very hard every time,…
Well I guess it's all about one's perspective how they feel the leads are.. I'm sure from one perspective the ML looks like a pushover and the FL like a selfish person.. but in the later episodes, the drama sufficiently explains (and justifies) their behavior and actions.
I myself dislike those typical tropes where the leads stick to each other in unhealthy relationships, but this one is actually different. In this case it never was unhealthy. They just had a lack of communication, which is also one of the biggest reasons relations don't work out in real life. And yes, the leads are not perfect, they have their insecurities, ego, pride.. and that's completely normal. The drama doesn't go overboard with these emotions, they keep it just at a realistic amount.
This is just my opinion and the reason why I like this drama, for the small imperfections and rawness of it all. Just felt like sharing it here in case someone wants to read both perspectives of the lead's story! :)
I was searching something that help my mood. I watched the 1st episode but dropped it right away when we were…
Wow same here, I had picked it up during the pandemic times , really didn't connect with it, and dropped it at the first episode. But now that I was watching 'Our beloved summer' (which I really loved), a lot of comments there mentioned that it reminds them of Run-on, which kinda got me interested again... So I thought of giving it a try.. but thanks for your comment though I'd defs give it a try now :3
Sameee! I haven't teared up watching a drama since soo long, but this moment was soo pure, so genuine.. and especially when both of them started crying I just couldn't...
I think I'm the minority but it does not feel slow to me. There was so much and I mean so much movement this episode.…
I am 💯 on the same side too.. the pace of the story and the different parts of their relationship that they focus on is on the spot.
And as someone who has also gone through a breakup and has lingering feelings for their Ex (the 'its complicated' status), I can't emphasise enough on how accurately the feelings are being portrayed by this drama. Their insecurities, their confusion and their pain.. it's necessary for our leads to analyse each emotion before they make a decision on whether they want to be together or not. And being introverted by nature, it's much more difficult for them to process it faster. Which is why, the pace is perfect and I hope they continue to develop their characters in the same manner!
I know everyone's frustrated by the Love triangle arc in the story and think it's unnecessary (myself included),…
I agree with the part that it's necessary for them to make choices to move on, and it will help them realise their own feelings faster.. but I'm just disappointed with how the second leads are not well developed and don't feel natural (compared to the how amazing the lead's relationship has been portrayed).
Like it's completely one sided and very random, and feels more like infatuation than genuine feelings.
I wish their stories were much more natural, probably like a friend for Ung who was with him when he was going through the breakup, or for Yeosun someone who supported her career.. that would have made it more realistic and rationale ( it may sound too critical of me but just my opinion lel :))
am I the only one who cant like NJ? Her character was fine for me initially but her confirming the rumour to YS…
Lol same, I just feels it's an unnecessary crush/attraction... I can sympathize with her (she's probably lonely and likes Ung's company) but she doesn't have to push soo hard to get his attention. Also compared YS and Ung's strong chemistry, it fizzles out.
And yes you should probably mark this as a spoiler xD
I really appreciate seeing the journey of our two leads, and how it isn't a quick event where they meet years…
The part where they start to negotiate being friends was very intresting and unexpected, truly a stage of grief.
It's like, 'i don't want to go through the same emotions, but I can't stay away from you' which speaks volumes. And I'm glad Ung proposed such a ridiculous idea, it will make them both realise faster what they actually feel! (Which is obvious that they aren't over each other)
So yes, I'm also looking forward to how this unfolds and hopefully it's a smooth transition from here on x)
as stupid as ung's idea of being friends with her is, i understand him. he is scared of being left all alone but…
Hahah and it's gonna be one hell of a lesson for him for sure xD but I think it was a unintentionally good step. Both Ung and Yeosun will realise in this process that they really just want to get back together!
SML going after his best friend's long term ex. That's some new low in kdrama history of second leads lol
Yea it just feels soo wrong.. especially when Ung has been soo nice to him :/ I don't agree with it, no matter how difficult it is to handle his feelings!
