Because the first half tried to portray their relationship as toxic.. and everyone was rooting for the non-toxic SML, or atleast that she would be independent and not end up with anyone..
But they just erased all the toxicity like poof! which is very unrelalistic, and then made it into a typical kdrama ending just for the sake of it.
This show had soo much potential to depict the realities of a relationship, and it was doing a pretty good job in the first half too.. and then they had to make him a good guy who fell in love, and her accepting it all in the end.
This gives a really bad message to the audience at large... There are soo many people out their stuck in toxic relationships who are in hopes that things will get better, or like PJE their partners will 'realise' their feelings and become a good person. But it DOESN'T happen in real life! I can't imagine how many young souls might get the wrong idea in their head after watching this...
I can't agree with you more! For real why did they have to make him fall in love with her.. like that defeats…
True, it seems very one sided from Do Hyuk. It really would be unfair on him if she chooses him just bcus he's the safest bet. Just a guess, but maybe they would use the time leap card to show that she 'eventually' falls in love with Do hyuk. Anyways just one week left for the finale soo let's wait and see how this all ends! xD
I can't agree with you more! For real why did they have to make him fall in love with her.. like that defeats…
Yup exactly, he isn't much of a 'bad guy' anymore as he was in the webtoon. If they do make Nabi and Dohyuk end up together, it would seem very off.. and with just one episode left I really dunno how they are gonna justify any of these endings!
Well I'd say it's different from a typical bad boy-good girl drama. This one shows how toxic a relationship can…
Agreed 💯, she and no one in this show can be labelled 'good'. And that's how we are as human.. kdramas usually portray a rosey picture of romance and life in general, which is why I guess this series is also getting a lot of backlash.
For me the big mistake in this drama is making Park Jaeon falling in love with her. They’re making people empathize…
I can't agree with you more! For real why did they have to make him fall in love with her.. like that defeats the whole purpose of the drama! They did kind of show him again in a negative light at the end of episode 9 but I don't think that was enough. Now with just one episode left, there is wat too much chaos and absolutely no way I which this can turn into a satisfying ending; except if she decides to deny both men and choose herself. But I don't think that's gonna happen... It seems like they want to make the FL and ML end up together.
I think that both Nabi and Jae eon are at fault here. We can't say that it's entirely her fault because she was…
I loved your point about what it might feel like to be in her position. It's true, not many are imaging themselves in her shoes. If a guy keeps getting your hopes up, doing everything you'd want from a lover... I can only imagine how difficult it would be to get out of it, especially when she was already VERY vulnerable from her previous relationship.
why do i feel like ep 10 is about to be a trainwreck how can they end this storyline in one episode
Ikr! I was wondering the same thing.. there seems to be soo much story and character development left. But all that they are gonna do is make her choose between the two guys??? Ugghh it's gonna be disappointing...
I don't get the hype for this show. I mean where's the catch in this one? It's just another typical bad boy and…
Well I'd say it's different from a typical bad boy-good girl drama. This one shows how toxic a relationship can get and how one person can be manipulated to an extent that they are stuck in that cycle for a long time. And believe me, this happens in real life too. This is why I feel a lot of people are getting hooked onto it.
This fl is so indecisive and when she does make a decision it's always wrong. She knows what shes getting involved…
True the FL really gets on my nerves sometimes, but I think that's why it feels realistic. Sadly that's actually how humans are.. we want something and we know we can't have it, but we keep desiring it even if we might know it's not good for us.
Would y’all say this is worth watching?? Like there is two episodes left and I kinda wanna know if it looks…
As for the ending in the first half I was pretty sure she wouldn't end up with the ML, but at this stage it's difficult to guess who she's gonna end up with. I'm hoping it would be the SML but I have a feeling it's not gonna go that way..
Would y’all say this is worth watching?? Like there is two episodes left and I kinda wanna know if it looks…
It's definitely very different from your typical dramas and not everyone's cup of tea. It tries to depict a different side to relationships (more toxic side), so if you are ok with such plots then you should defs give it a try. Apart from the story; the acting, cinematography and osts all are absolutely gorgeous! That could also be a reason for you to try it out.
My friend asked me not to watch this drama because of the traumatic and toxic relationship I once had and I still…
Aww.. sorry to here you had to go through this experience. It must've been difficult for you to watch this drama. Even I've heard of such real life instances from my friends... I can understand how it must been difficult, you feel trapped and there's not much in your control. But hey, glad you got out of it, and I truly hope that you heal completely from it and the next time around; you get a chance at a healthy relationship. :)
its a tug of war to keep viewers watching. people tend to watch more if the lead character is someone they hate…
That's gonna ruin the whole series for me definitely... it will end up being like any other kdrama, just with a different 'approach' I guess.. bummer :/
But they just erased all the toxicity like poof! which is very unrelalistic, and then made it into a typical kdrama ending just for the sake of it.
