If you are looking for a chill kdrama, you can watch this. While the individuals stories can be a bit emotional, they do always end on a good note so I will still count it as chill. After watching other intense dramas, this was a delight and a good drama to watch after a long day at work. Definitely recommend!
gye sun woo's character... i don't understand what's the purpose of putting such a good actor in such a unnecessary…
Ikr! Such a waste of a good character, and he's too good to be an extra. I won't even call him a second lead at this point. :/ They gave him soo much plot and time during the first 2 episodes and suddenly he has no role. Really unfair to his character
Same, I thought the reflection (eyes especially) looked like Woo Yeo himself. I dunno maybe it's just to throw…
Haha yes, I really hope whatever twist they introduce would be interesting and keeps with the overall expectations from this drama. Let's wait and watch! :D
I'm convinced the serial killer isn't Woo Yeo but why did the reflection look like him at the end of ep 6? anyone…
Same, I thought the reflection (eyes especially) looked like Woo Yeo himself. I dunno maybe it's just to throw us off, or he gets possessed or something? (Like werwolves during a full moon? :P) or maybe the villan is also a shapeshifter who takes his face to trap him or something?
I personally really liked this drama. I was reluctant to watch this because of all the negative reviews out here,…
I'd also like to point out that it does get a lot draggy towards the end, it could have ended very well within 12 episodes. I really don't understand why most kdramas do this and try to spoil the viewer's mood. I think that's the only drawback. Overall, anyone who wants to watch this, just think of the whole drama from the perspective of a manga/webtoon character and I'm sure you will understand the plot better and like it.
I personally really liked this drama. I was reluctant to watch this because of all the negative reviews out here, but I have to say that it definitely wasn't as bad as it seems from the review and comments.
So anyone else out here like me who is confused over whether to watch this or not, don't think much and definitely give it a go! :)
Amazing drama! Very well written and no plot holes were left. I love SciFi themes done right, and this is a great example of that. Not only is their portrayal of romance very realistic, but also how they touche on topics of mental health; everything is very well done.
P.S.: If you liked the Netflix series 'Dark', you will definitely like this. Although it's not as complicated and deep as Dark, and mostly follows a linear story track, it has the same intriguing and surprising elements to it. Must watch! :)
It was great! I loved it. My favorite thing was how deeply Li Zi Wei and Huang Yu Xuan loved each other. I feel…
As for your first question, back when Mo Jun Jie showed his earpiece to Chen Yun Ru, it seems he forgot to take it back, and she still had it with her when the attack happened. Hence, she dropped it at the site of the accident.
As for the real Wang Quan Sheng, I was thinking of the same thing. It seems sad that he never got to live his life back like Chen Yun Ru. I was hoping atleast towards the end they would show him again, maybe that he gets to live a happy life too along with the rest. But seems like the writers didn't want to touch on the future, just the year 1999 and then the rest is left to our imagination. :)
Ahh same! I'm also conflicted between the ML and SML. Like the ML is perfect, but like u said he gives off that…
Hahah yes I agree, it was definitely a confession and rather a dreamy one indeed UwU
Also I agree, it seems now after episode 4 that they just want to focus on the main leads now. They really shouldn't have casted such a handsome actor as the SML (who woos our heart T__T) and also probably shouldn't have build soo much on SML and FL's story at the start. But let's see how it progresses!
As I understand it, Woo Yeo already knows the way to get the marble back (his friend ex-gumiho said so). Then…
Haha yes exactly! You've summarised pretty much on the spot xD I also agree it's a bit inconsistent, and I had the same question; from episode 4 it seemed clear that he knew she would die with the bead inside and yet in the 1st or 2nd episode he was like "I wont let her die" so why the gimmick. Also about the part where he can get it out and take energy for the rest; it's been mentioned that he is very choosy and also that for a long time he lost hope on turning human. Maybe that's why when he saw it turn blue, he wants to take his bet with Dam
I love this so far. And I cannot believe I'm actually torn between the ML and the SML. How I don't know. The SML…
Ahh same! I'm also conflicted between the ML and SML. Like the ML is perfect, but like u said he gives off that fatherly vibe; as for the SML he seems to be going on the bad-boy-turns-nice-for-FL route, which is such a typical trope but we all love it. xD But it also seems like there's no hope for the SML. I would atleast like to see him turn into a nice guy at the end, because of meeting and falling in love with the FL.

From what I understand, the marble needs to be in her body and absorb all her energy to turn blue (leading to her eventual death, or deathlike situation). So although first he had the thought of taking the bead out, he stopped when he saw the bead turn blue for sometime (which shows there's hope for it to turn completely blue). I think he's just conflicted between his feelings for her and his desire to turn human, which can only happen if the marble stays in her and turns completely blue.
I know the SML is a jerk but why am I still getting the second lead syndrome T___T I mean the lead couple is perfect, but something about the FL and SML is also soo electric and their scenes are way more funnier.
Or because the bead needs human energy to turn blue. So maybe our gumiho wants to keep it in her longer even though…
i'm kinda guessing the same, he's letting the marble stay in her so that it takes up her energy and eventually turns blue (since he doesn't have feelings for her as of now)
I watched it because of the high ratings but unfortunately I didn't like it and I'm dropping it. :/ I felt the FL pursuing the ML was pretty pointless, only reason was cus he's handsome; and ML is too overbearing for my taste. Didn't feel their chemistry, and then the second lead syndrome! He was always good to her maybe... maybe they could've made the FL end up with the SML since the writers were throwing shade at the typical romance genre, it would've been better.
