Sometimes I wonder if we are watching the same drama. She broke up with him, she made him like that and he doesn't…
I agree Yeonsu should take the initiative now.. but you know, in a real life scenario too, that guilt of having left them first will always haunt you.
It's always like "this relationship broke because of me, so how can I ask them to get together again?" I've seen soo many situations like this, and it really is as complicated as the drama portrays.
The baggage from the past, carried by both Yeonsu and Ung are unfolding and one cannot help but notice the amount…
This is soo true and well written! I really liked your point that since Ung had soo many people around him, maybe he had it easier processing the breakup than Yeonsu (who is probably realising it more now that she is interacting with Ung) And this all also makes sense on why it's gonna take them a long time to communicate openly with each other.
The show is doing a great job in portraying their complex emotions and this is actually very realistic, contrary to what people are expecting out of the series (that they should talk it out and get together already.)
I'm loving how the series is progressing.. but I wonder if 16 episodes are too much for this storyline. I just hope they don't insert some unnecessary trope towards the end and spoils this amazing drama!
The relationship between the leads feels very realistic.. soo melancholic and vulnerable.. it's amazing how they are portraying the emotions of past love and unsaid words between them. Having been through a similar breakup, it makes me feel extra sad but also very satisfied looking at how this drama portraying emotions soo well!
I'd also specially like to mention the scene where the kid goes missing and he was just crying in the park from the overwhelming happiness of his parents reuniting. It was such a pure moment. Sometimes parents don't realise how important a healthy family can be to a small child. It's obviously not their fault, in the end they are humans too who are going through intense sadness and stress... But the impact it can have on a child is immense. They way the whole scene played was soo heartfelt.. real and beautiful!
I absolutely love how the series throws light on soo many aspects of life.. from divorce, childbirth, past regrets, forgiveness, friendship, family, old age and death.. all emotions have been portrayed with such genuineness and emotions.
I also love how they normalise men crying their heart outs and feeling emotions freely.. and show open communications and discussions between the couples beautifully.
The entire series was a breathe of fresh air really! It did tear me up but I had a huge smile and a happy grin for most of the parts. I'm soo happy i decided to give this drama a try!
I also really liked You Are My Hero - great chemistry between the leads (didn't care that much for the secondary…
I'll second that! The chemistry in you are my hero was absolutely amazing.. and this was my first thought too when I wanted to compare with the chemistry from our secret :D
Our Secret can also be added to this list! It has just finished airing so I can understand why it's not there in here, but anyone who is looking our for more youth c dramas definitely give it a try!
Ahh I love Park Min Young! But I like her more in bubbly charcters like in WWWSK or Her private life.. rather than in serious roles like in When the weather is fine..Her face just has this beautiful radiance because of which cold and serious characters don't suit her I feel:3
I'm disappointed with this drama not because who Nabi ends up with, but there's not any convincing explanation…
True.. there was never a good dialogue between the two, it was just staring at each other for long times (with a great background OST lol). I wonder if they would have anything to talk about after ending up together. xD
Instead of focusing on the love triangle in the last few episode, if they would have focused on solely making their relationship better.. it would've made more sense, and would have been more convincing. At this point, in my eyes, it is still just attraction/lust.. and not real love.
