Ugh I love this but Im afraid everything is going to get messier and messier...can she really fix the past? and…
True, I'm afraid its gonna get messier and messier. When she decided to go back to save the ML's sis and her friendship with her best frnd, I went like 'NOOOO DONT DO IT!' Everything comes with a price, if it does end with him coming back to life; I wonder who would get sacrificed in the bargain.
The premise of this reminds me a lot of the manga Orange.
I thought so too from the first 2 episodes, but as it progressed it doesn't seem like orange at all.
Largely because of the difference in timelines. Orange was based on the concept of a parallel universe, one where any action in the present doesn't change the past. What happened in the parallel universe stayed the same way, they were only able to change the future in the other universe.
On the other hand, blue birthday is based on a linear timeline, which has an effect on their own past and future. Here she also travels back in time to change her own timeline, which is also definitely more dangerous!
First of all, I would find it really weird to suddenly be in a 10 years old relationship without living through…
Same! I wouldn't risk going back too, considering I really wanted to be with this person with all my heart (just like Ha Rin in the drama) and I get to experience first hand that he is infact a great partner too!
Nothing comes for free in this world, there is always a bargain and that is a rule of life. So if I get a lifelong partner at the cost of friendship, I might give it up. Also, since my friends is still alive; I would try my best to rekindle again. It might not be as great as it used to be, but if we had broken up over a silly reason (like the one in the drama), the other person might also let it go and be willing to get on good terms atleast.
its a tug of war to keep viewers watching. people tend to watch more if the lead character is someone they hate…
True! It does feel like fan service at this point to give his fans some hope.. but I'm also scared that they would eventually make the leads end up together for fan service :/
I don't understand why the series is trying to make Jae Eon look good sometimes. Sometimes it's like he really has feelings for her and is just scared of commitment, it kinda defeats the purpose of this series I feel. Like from what I heard in the novel it was always clear that he was a f-boy and the relation was truly toxic. So the audience won't feel bad for his character. Here it's seems to be very confusing!
I’m most annoyed by how nabi is allowing jaeeon to sway her when in her mind jaeeon has a gf and she is literally…
Soo true!! He didn't deny not having a girlfriend soo technically in her mind he's still committed and yet she goes all out with him. That's really bad! we cant claim Nabi to be the 'innocent' one anymore..
Well to be fair, if you start watching you wouldn't want them to end up together yourself. The story is more inclined…
Yea It's difficult to dislike the ML, he does a great job in confusing the viewers (plus he's drop dead handsome soo makes us all woo over him xD) but I think his character's subtle toxicity becomes visible eventually..
I don’t understand why people are saying Dohyuku Nabi don't have chemistry! I get it you don’t ship them but…
Agreed, I think people were quick to judge because of the less screen time in the previous episodes. But from episode 6 I think it's proven that they indeed have good chemistry ^^
I've watched 2 episodes and found out ML and FL won't went up together from comments. I'll put it on hold until…
Well to be fair, if you start watching you wouldn't want them to end up together yourself. The story is more inclined towards telling us why they aren't good for each other. So even if you watch I think you wouldn't feel as bad for Song Kang as maybe in Love Alarm..
I really3 hope not because that way Dam & Sun Woo will become in laws & bond for the rest of their life too, please…
Hahah well I think that's thinking a little too far xD, but also if they are not bound by the red string anymore it won't be as difficult for them to move on. And probably if both are happy with their respective partners that shouldn't be a problem either.
I just randomly thought of this theory that, as many of you might have noticed in the Character chart, Lee Dam's brother and Sun Woo's sister have a question mark when it comes to their relationship. So what if later on (probably when Woo Yeo turns human) the red string between Lee Dam and Sun Woo vanishes and it actually transfers to their siblings, and eventually they become destined for each other. xD (it's just my thought, nothing as such is hinted though!)
Ok but why do they have to complicate the plot now (as of episode 11), the leads are already in a relationship and the SML was not given much focus after the first 2 episodes. Most viewers didn't even get a Second lead syndrome cus of the clear plot between the leads, and now it's like they are forcing the love triangle down everyone's throat.
I mean I understand that the mountain god is doing this maybe to force Mr. Gumiho to turn into a human quickly, but why make the audience confused now and make them feel bad for the second lead, who is most definitely not gonna end up with Dam! I'm sort of disappointed with this turn now -_-
