Oh, I'm watching "Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good?", too π Actually, I wouldn't call that shitty, maybe campy and definitely cringe, but the production is actually good and the style takes some getting used to, but at least it's deliberately the way it is, not like "Sin and Love" and "Tide of Love" which are just unintentionally hilarious because they're soo bad π€£ But I agree with the slightly "creepy" vibes, but Japanese productions are awfully(?) good at creating creepy but at the same time wholesome dramas. I'm actually enjoying that drama quite a lot. It's a lighthearted watch, making me cringe and laugh, but not because it's actually bad, but it's just so out-of-the-box or maybe just different from what I usually watch that it keeps me well entertained.

I didn't quite get whether you switched topics and who you're talking about π But anyways, I hope for another (and better) drama for both pairingsπ And actually, I can relate. I often don't even start following actors because I usually get bored after 2 weeks π Don't ask me why I'm still sticking around for Myeongcheol, maybe because Tide of Love was so hilarious, I couldn't miss out on any future cringe fests π And omg yees, totally feel you! I hate using MDL on my laptop bcs of the lack of emojis! I always feel like I cannot express myself without them so I end up copying them from those weird emoji websitesπ«

Haha no shame in watching only bcs sb/sth is nice to look at ππ I mainly watched bcs I do believe the entertainment value of this shitty show is indeed a 10/10 . I havent cry-laughed this much since Tide of Love which is the epitome of a hilarious mess πAlso, I actually enjoy the main couple's chemistry (and I believe they actually have potential if the production quality wasnt this shitty, which is another hill I'll die on). But I also understand if people don't agree, to each their own π

Nah, it's not just you, I thought the same. At least the explanation that they don't want to tell the dad bcs they want him to love Phatsa for who he is doesn't make sense to me. Why would you care so much if such an awful person likes you? I'd rather buy it if they said we don't want to tell him bcs he'd pressure them to give him that grandchild immediately when they're not ready yet. But whatever, not much of this whole story follows common sense anyway...
Not throwing shade at the actors (actually holding on bcs of BoatOat) bcs it's probably just the unsavalvageable direction and script but it's the worst when they're all sitting/standing around in a group and one after another recites his lines while everyone else is just staring into the air. Inbetween their lines there are just some awkward pauses and glances (or a certain someone hands over another cup of teaπ). It doesn't even feel like an actual conversation bcs everything's so stiff. The fact that they keep repeating the same things over and over just using different words doesn't help either. Feels like turning in circles while some unfitting music tries to create some sort of tension that I'm not really feeling either. I had such high hopes and until the last ep, I just focused on all the positives ignoring the elephant in the room but now, if I'm being honest, I'm just dragging myself to next week, surviving on the hope we get to see the pregnancy at least.
