Peach Lover? Is that bad as well?? How many EBS drama are there?! 🤣 it's already on my to-watch list, but I usually don't watch ongoing dramas. So I'll wait a bit , but rhe I'll check it out. 🫡

I basically watch anything from regular K- and C-dramas to mini dramas. I'm big on romance, though comedy and action is fine occasionally, too. I finished 'Speed and Love' recently and am watching 'Idol I' right now which I also enjoy a lot. But for some stupid reason, I got stuck after a few eps bcs 'Tide of Love' has won my heart to the degree that I even miss the epic badness while watching other dramas and get distracted 😅
What dramas do you watch besides those on the EBS?

'Opposites Attract' ? 🤔 No, I haven't seen that yet, let me add that to my watch-list!✍️ But apparently, I've seen 'Unforgotten Night' and I even gave it an 8, so I must have really enjoyed it's epic badness😅 though if I'm honest, the only thing I remember now is the ML's ridiculously big tattoo on his back that made me shiver bcs it looked like fur🤣🤣🤣
I must admit I need to step up my game when it comes to EBS dramas. I think, besides some epically bad Thai dramas (in which the main problem was the side characters acting as well as cardboard), Tide of Love is the worst in terms of production that I'm actually sitting through till the end 🤣

Hahaha I know, right?? I mean at least he's trying and chose "therapy" Ig 😅👏🏻But the way the rando friend said Minwoo only became a therapist bcs he he heard Jaehun has mental health problems and then it turns out he's a PHYSIOtherapist whuut?! Wrong career path, oopsie 🤣
Idk if the staff is thinking at all, so nothing surprises me anymore 😅 but I have to defend them for the phsyiotherpaist only giving a massage bcs my sis went to phsyio for her neck problems and in some sessions she also only got a massage (not that she was particularly satisfied with that "physiotherapy" but oh well, that's another story) 😂

I bet the producers have been sitting in their own echo chamber since S1, shouting "GREAT IDEA! LOVE IT!" at each other whenever sb. yawns. I guess they also had blinders on (probably like the red ones put on Haejun), so they're excused for not seeing the negative feedback before producing S2🤷🏼‍♀️
"Kim Kant-Hyear" (took me a minute to get that one ngl, but then I LOLed like there's no tomorrow😂) definitely gained a new fan in me! No wonder he's that great with all that experience!
And those voice actors deserve a raise, too. Their delivery is either totally void of emotion or uses such an affected speech style that I feel like watching a play in a high-class theatre. Respect!

But let me be serious for a second, if the company doesn't go bankrupt (no idea how they even manage that, but trash tv has a whole fandom of its own, so supply and demand I guess🤷🏼‍♀️) I hope they let Myeongcheol and Hyeonseo escape. They both have potential and have shown in other series they can act decently! Tbh I only endure through this for the actors who had great off-screen chemistry in the BTS of S1 and who definitely deserve better 😭
So, pls let your hostages go if you continue your shenanigans, SickMedia😒

As long as you keep the original production crew, I'll agree to any adjustments 😄
Though I must admit even AI generated music sung by a tone deaf might be more bearable than the same repetetive, annoyin (I bet copyright free) trash they slap over every scene since season 1 😂 So it might not increase the epic badness, but it might actually help to divert the attention away from all the editing fails and bad voice over 🙉 A win is a win 🙌🏻😂

Spinoff with Mr Rich Villain? I'd sign a petition for that any day! Though my friend and I call him affectionately "Leather jacket rando", which has a nice ring to it, though I must admit I'm not even sure that they have the budget for a real leather jacket...
But If there's a spinoff please bless us and continue with the same "sound engineer" and "writers"! (Thank you for using quotation marks which never have been THIS important, bcs else it'd be a blasphemy like insult to REAL sound enginers and writers)

Ep 4. The disaster continues... This ep left me confused and disappointed, and disappointed that I'm confused and disappointed bcs what am I even expecting at this point? 🥴
And despite all that, I'm seated and excited for the next eps 🤡

- If I hear that repetitive music they played in the NC scene for 5 minutes straight ever again, I'll throw my laptop out the window. PLS GOD NO. Even awkward voiceover with no bgm would have been better 🙉
- All the cuts in the NC scene are giving me whiplash...🫨 Using so many props in ONE NC scene, but each only for 2 sec is so non-sensical. It's a freaking NC scene but it looks like they're rushing through it as if it's an assignment due tomorrow. Maybe they're filming an ad for BDSM props and joined a competition of how many props you can show under 1min, but at least my humble self wasn't informed 🤷🏼‍♀️
- Mismatched audio/video is nothing new but can we at least get the whipping, flinching and wincing order right?! I'm trying hard to enjoy at least sth of this shitshow, but when the whipping apparently started (judging from the sound) Haejun was neither reacting physically nor verbally. So I genuinely thought he had been f*ed unconscious🙂 (which might have been a better plot line imho, but nobody cares)
- Repeating the same or similar sentences back to back making me question whether the editor f*ed up again or the script writer has the short-time memory of a goldfish 🐟🙄
- I was today years old when I learned that a physiotherapist can heal mental health issues. If it's that easy we all should just get a massage once a week. Let's massage our traumas away and become better humans one massage at a time. In that case, I als o need physiotherapy when I finally finish this drama 💆🏼‍♀️
- Leather jacket rando has a serious alcohol problem. Whenever he meets someone he's drinking. Even when meeting the therapist rando in a car he brought a frking wine glas... to drink sth that doesn't even look like wine ?? If sb. needs help, it's definitely him. Smh
- At least the sweet scenes this ep were actually sweet, almost to the point of being diabetes-inducing and kinda creepy, bcs it's hard to believe that Jaehun suddenly pulled a 180, apologized and opened up about the past like easy peasy lemon squeezy😬(the weird affected speech of the voice actor isn't helping to convince anyone either 🙉)
- The fact that Haejun, who was still lying there as if his soul had left his body one minute ago , just gets up in a flash and accepts Jaehun's apology isn't surprising, though very concerning...

THIS! I wish viewers would stop blaming the actors for anything related to this series 🥲 Myeongcheol has shown countless times he can act/kiss better and even Hyeonseo looked less awkward in "Sweetheart Service". There was even a part in the BTS of S1 where you could see the director instructing Hyeonseo to keep avoiding the kisses by turning his head. So that he constantly looks like he isn't into the kisses etc. is definitely not his fault 🤷🏼‍♀️
The last ep of S1 had some great lovely kisses imo, but for whatever reason in S2 ep1 we were back to square one 🤦🏼‍♀️ There's only so much that the actors can do...

Why is this so accurate? 🤣 I can't believe my eyes. Haejun initiated a kiss, Jaehun apologized and they had an actual meaningful conversation of more than 2 sentences that somewhat made sense. Not only hell must be freezing over, but also earth started rotating backwards or sth..

Oh, you definitely should! If you need sth to laugh this one's the right choice! Just don't make the mistake of trying to find any logic in the story or consistency in the editing, or else this might fry your brain 😅

- The glitching skin filter's probably my last two brain cells sending SOS signals, after fighting and blaming each other for making me watch this shitshow week after week… help ? 🤪🆘
- So the weird sound during the kissing scene in the bathtub scene in ep2, was the laptop mic turning on from ep.3 ?? So we’re reusing kissing sounds from the future now?! How low can your budget be?? 🤦‍♀️
- Why does the prof in the online class only hear Haejun answering, but apparently not Jaehun talking? And why does the prof’s voice at the end of the class suddenly glitch and sound like the worst AI robot?! 🤖 This drama is such a logical black hole, my last brain cells are getting sucked away into the abyss 🫠
- The bow and bell on the collar dis- and then reappearing: What a classic from S1! But when the Christmas cookie’s red bow suddenly disappeared as well, I couldn’t help but cry from laughing 🤣 It feels like someone is trying to show you a new vanishing spell but is failing so miserably, you start to wonder whether the magician is on drugs and the audience should be too🪄🤣
- I’m sorry but Haejun telling Jaehun what he does is illegal just made me laugh 🤣… No shit, sherlock, locking up people isn’t exactly the most legal stuff. I don’t want to victim blame, but I said it in S1 already, Haejun should have packed his bags and run the day before yesterday. His Stockholm Syndrome made him stay with that waterboarding, consent ignoring assh*le and now he's way too far gone to ever escape. I feel just as much pity as I am annoyed🤦‍♀️ I want to get a megaphone, hold it to Haejun’s ear and shout 🗣️: JAEHUN DOESN’T NEED SAVING HE NEEDS THERAPY! 🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️ STOP SQUINTING YOUR DAMN EYES AND SEARCH FOR THE FREAKING DOOR TO LEAVE!! 😑 ❌ -> 🚪 👀 ✅

- Honorary mention for the banana flashback 🍌, using that as an example for a sweet moment in their "couple" relationship is so damn random 🤣 One likes how the other eats bread, the other falls for people eating bananas 🍞 🍌 What in the world of food kinks comes next? Guuuys we’re so backkk 🙌 like I said after ep1, it can still go downhill from here, and here we are - the quality reached new lows in ep. 3! 🤣👏👏 It’s even worse than S1, not that the bar had been very high, but now the bar dropped so low, it’s basically melting away in the earth’s core 🌋

Oh right, our favorite levitating plant, how dare I forget 😱 unfortunately, barely any plants in S2 yet, besides Jaehun fumbling around with one for a hot minute in ep1 😍🤣

Also, I have a question, did anyone else hear that weird noise around 8:45 in ep2 while they're kissing in the bathtub?! It sounds like the voice actor accidently inhaled whatever he made out with to create the kissing sound...is he okay? Did he choke? Did anyone check on him?

I kept wondering where I had heard those bad sound effects before... and today it dawned on me, it sounds exactly like in bad Chinese vertical dramas. Thinkin about it now, it actually makes sense bcs the head company behind Seek Media Korea seems to be Chinese.
Man how I wished Myeongcheol and Hyeonseo would get another series together under a better production company *biggest sigh of the century*
