Though I got interested in this drama because of Lee Joon Gi and only started season 1 to be able to watch season…
What I loved most is the way Eunseom majored. In S1, I was just cheering for this young, energetic and a bit simple-minded guy following his somewhat naive, yet strong believes. While in S2, Eunseom had grown into his role of Inaishingi, a strong leader, who step by step realizes how complicated the world actually is and how difficult it is to be just to everyone. He doesn't only fixiate on his own goal and believes anymore, but has grown to observe those around him with an open heart and grows wiser the farther he goes. I especially loved two dialogues that made me think and reflect on life:
The one where he told Karat from the Momo tribe that living itself is 'galma' because you can never evade affecting others, just as you cannot evade being affected by others.
And the scene where he told Tagon that they are different because their reasons for wanting to become Aramun are not the same. Even if his goal is unreachable, the direction is what matters. Eunseom's path will continue beyond his death.

Though I got interested in this drama because of Lee Joon Gi and only started season 1 to be able to watch season 2, I got so fond of the actors that it took me a while to get used to all the actor changes. Especially the actress of Tania (her acting is not bad per se) felt so different from the 1st season's that I first felt like it's a whole different character. Even for LJG it took 1 or 2 eps, but I know I'm biased bcs I love his acting so I can't say much objectively. But I genuinely think he was a great choice for the 'matured' Eunseom.
In the end, I enjoyed S2 just as much as S1. But I was less hooked than in S1 and I even took some breaks here and there. Idk maybe it's the heavier focus on politics/war strategy that was less interesting to me, the pacing that felt a bit off or the overly blurry lense they used way too often. But at least the overall story was thrilling enough that I never felt like putting it on hold for more than 2 days.
My biggest complain would definitely be that S2 was too short and the ending makes me wish for a season 3 which we'll probably never get. So I'm trying to make peace with what we've got. Though I really wished Kanmoreu would have been mentioned again, but well, you cannot get everything...

Before I thought Sangnuea was acted badly, but was that facial expression of Nakhun's dad in this ep??
Finding out that Phatsa is a pure omega, the dad: 😦
Listening to the lecture from his wife, the dad: 😦
Getting the divorce papers, the dad: 😦
His whole family basically abandoning him and cuddling without him, the dad: 😦
Me *internally screaming*: "Shut your damn mouth, or you'll catch flies!!"🤦‍♀️
Besides this I don't even remember much what happened this ep, what a splendid snooze fest! 🫩 Wake me up when we finally get a hint of the pregnancy, even if it's just an inch of a protruding belly 🙏

I can recommend his insta if you wanna see more of Mr. Nice To Look At 😂❤️‍🔥@mcjdoo
Oh, I'm watching "Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good?", too 😄 Actually, I wouldn't call that shitty, maybe campy and definitely cringe, but the production is actually good and the style takes some getting used to, but at least it's deliberately the way it is, not like "Sin and Love" and "Tide of Love" which are just unintentionally hilarious because they're soo bad 🤣 But I agree with the slightly "creepy" vibes, but Japanese productions are awfully(?) good at creating creepy but at the same time wholesome dramas. I'm actually enjoying that drama quite a lot. It's a lighthearted watch, making me cringe and laugh, but not because it's actually bad, but it's just so out-of-the-box or maybe just different from what I usually watch that it keeps me well entertained.

So you mean you followed one of the actors from the Japanese drama? Or do you mean Myeongcheol? I didn't quite get whether you switched topics and who you're talking about 😅
But anyways, I hope for another (and better) drama for both pairings🙏
And actually, I can relate. I often don't even start following actors because I usually get bored after 2 weeks 😅 Don't ask me why I'm still sticking around for Myeongcheol, maybe because Tide of Love was so hilarious, I couldn't miss out on any future cringe fests 😂
And omg yees, totally feel you! I hate using MDL on my laptop bcs of the lack of emojis! I always feel like I cannot express myself without them so I end up copying them from those weird emoji websites🫠

Haha no shame in watching only bcs sb/sth is nice to look at 😏😂 I mainly watched bcs I do believe the entertainment value of this shitty show is indeed a 10/10 . I havent cry-laughed this much since Tide of Love which is the epitome of a hilarious mess 😂Also, I actually enjoy the main couple's chemistry (and I believe they actually have potential if the production quality wasnt this shitty, which is another hill I'll die on). But I also understand if people don't agree, to each their own 😆

Wait...You actually expected him to have more than 20k followers?! 🫪 I was actually surprised and impressed by that number considering that he hasnt played in any really popular drama 🤔 As far as I've seen he is really kind when interacting with fans which might explain why he at least has that many 😅
Oh yeah, I remember the lego figures 🤣 That's part of the promo of a new BL dating show on YT whose production team uses the most awful and hilarious AI posters where the cast members are literally melting into their surroundings and into each other 💀😂
Glad you enjoyed that cringe fest of a page and as long as he is participating in that pageantry, I can guarantee it won't become less cringe any time soon 😂🙌🏻

Yes! And sometimes it just feels like they are stating the obvious over and over again. And to be honest I do…
Nah, it's not just you, I thought the same. At least the explanation that they don't want to tell the dad bcs they want him to love Phatsa for who he is doesn't make sense to me. Why would you care so much if such an awful person likes you? I'd rather buy it if they said we don't want to tell him bcs he'd pressure them to give him that grandchild immediately when they're not ready yet. But whatever, not much of this whole story follows common sense anyway...

Not throwing shade at the actors (actually holding on bcs of BoatOat) bcs it's probably just the unsavalvageable direction and script but it's the worst when they're all sitting/standing around in a group and one after another recites his lines while everyone else is just staring into the air. Inbetween their lines there are just some awkward pauses and glances (or a certain someone hands over another cup of tea🙄). It doesn't even feel like an actual conversation bcs everything's so stiff. The fact that they keep repeating the same things over and over just using different words doesn't help either. Feels like turning in circles while some unfitting music tries to create some sort of tension that I'm not really feeling either.
I had such high hopes and until the last ep, I just focused on all the positives ignoring the elephant in the room but now, if I'm being honest, I'm just dragging myself to next week, surviving on the hope we get to see the pregnancy at least.

I just rewatched Hyeonseo and Myeongcheol's interview on this drama and another clip of their balance game, and…
Btw Myeongcheol is competing for the title "Mister International Korea 2026" rn, if you wanna support him, please vote here:
