Thanks for convincing me to watch the BTS now!! Normally I won't start watching the making of till I finished a drama because I'm scared of spoilers and that it'll take me out of the story, but tbh... what story can you be taken out of when there's literally no plot? 😂
And turns out...you're so right, the BTS are way more interesting! I think their chemistry is better offscreen, they feel less awkward and them smiling at each other is just so sweet🥹 Even the kisses are somehow more intimate than in the actual drama bcs there are less weird cuts. The only thing I still dislike is the music and the grunting... 🙉

Just rewatched the first 3 eps in one go trying to understand what's happening (don't do it, it didn't help 😂). By now I have little hope that they can live up to the excitement and expectations they created with the trailer. Rewatching the trailer 50 times might be better than watching the whole series...😅​
It feels like we only see disconnected snippets of a fragmented memory. They leave so much open to the viewer's imagination that you really don't know what exactly happened and what they're really thinking. Some of their dialogue seems as disconnected as the scenes and is it just me or does Hae Jun still seem uncomfortable during the kiss scenes though he agreed to continue and now even asked for it...?
The weird editing already managed to confuse me about the timeline (first I thought ep 1 + 2 are scenes from 2 separate nights, now I think it's the same night and that scarf just appeared out of nowhere) and let's not talk about that sloppy editing of the audio track.
What a disappointment and what a waste of this pairing. I was really looking forward to them being the main leads... 😩

Had me glued to my screen in the first half till the ML suddenly gave in to FL's advances way too quickly and after that it became a bit boring. The ending was kinda rushed, too. But considering that it's a vertical drama it's still a lot better than most.

I'm more a binge-watch kind of girl, but with this one I somehow lost interest after Shan and Obun got together and had to remind myself several times that I still need to finish this. I wasn't forcing myself to watch it and I still enjoyed it, but Idk why but even the "drama" that happened in the 2nd half seemed so mild and so quickly resolved that it didn't really make me feel any big emotions. Everything's just sweet and the kisses/NC scenes were great, but imo the story kinda lost its spark midway.

I totally agree with you, I enjoyed it more than I expected reading all the bad comments and it's definitely worth a try. Also, even if it took an unexpected "turn" in the end, I still enjoyed it just because it made me laugh about how ridiculous it got... which is good, just in another way 😂

Loved it waay more than expected and I'm so sad it ended so soon. It feels like it just started and it just ends like a soap bubble that bursts when you're just about to catch it 😭😭😭

Despite the short length which really is the biggest downside I ended up loving it. But it had the potential to be so much more, if they had more time for everything 😭 - more time to open up to and fall for each other, to actually talk in depth about their fears and resolve their issues, more time for the second couple (bcs I also really adored their characters), and definitely more time to address Jiwon's past instead of just throwing at us for a few seconds and then never addressing it again...
This way it felt a bit rushed, like too much plot squeezed into 8 eps and also kinda unfinished bcs the way it ends they will definitely face the same issue with rumors again and they just ignored that fact?
But on the positive side: I absolutely looved the chemistry and the kisses were the most natural ones I've seen in a while. Also, not having loud music drown out the kiss scenes made them soo much more intimate (though this made them hard to watch for me at first ..🫣😅).
I needed some time to get used to the secondhand embarassment from the initial cringeyness, but some of their dialogue literally made me squeal, kick my feet and clap like a seal...😂 idk why or what it was exactly, but the way Jinwoo sometimes suddenly blurts out this random honest remarks and their overall dynamic was just so funny and cute to me.🥰

I enjoyed this more than I expected! They definitely prioritized the steamy scenes over the plot, but I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing. If you're okay with the plot taking the backseat and focus more on chemistry and kiss scenes anyway, you'll enjoy this lots. Though I sometimes wasn't a 100% sure what the hell is going on and the ending was kinda whatever, I loved their chemistry and the tension in the beginning. Also, the ML's acting was surprisingly good! His jealousy and the random topless scene at the end had me cackling 🤣 I also liked that the last ep included some behind the scenes footage, the whole filming team seemed to be really sweet together ☺️

For a mini drama this was reaally good!! In the beginning this couple was really the definition of "matching each other's freak" and the tension was palpable. And although the tension gets lost a bit along the way, I actually enjoyed them slowly becoming openly supportive of eo, taking turns in rescuing eo and in the end, just turning into a wholesome couple. Besides it never gets boring because whenever you think you figured out whats going on another plot twist waits around the corner. Were some things a bit too sloppy (like suddenly his bites leaving no bite marks anymore)? - Sure. And did some things resolve a bit too conveniently? - Definitely. But did I binge-watch this whole thing in one day and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish anyway? - Hell yeah!

I really liked everything about this... except the time skip. Just why would you not just contact each other for that long if u actually cared??

Also, I kinda hate that they didn't clear up what happened to the uncle at the end. That kind of scum deserves punishment more than anyone else.

If you just focus on the rom-com part and turn your logic off this show is quite good. Though in the middle it got kinda draggy and I wished they resolved all the misunderstandings earlier, every ep there was something that made me laugh and made want to continue. Also, at least they blessed us with not only one, but a few happy eps in the end and those somehow managed to make me forget all the frustration I felt earlier. But tbh if it wasn't for the main couple's cute chemistry and also the wholesome friendship of the MLs I wouldn't have been able to finish this.

Found this by chance. Overall, it's enjoyable if you're just looking for a short, light drama to turn your brain off to and pass the time.
The premise had lots of potential, but the drama is too short and the production is too low budget to do it justice. ML had to carry the whole thing alone. His acting surprised me positively (especially in ep 18). If it wasn't for him and the sweet romance scenes, I wouldn't have finished it.

But there were just too many confusing or vague parts:
- The ending is confusing and I only understood it bcs of the last ep's title.
- Why is the English title "Love at first taste" when he never bites her, what taste? Do they mean their first kiss?
- Why is the ending of their first meeting never fully shown? Had he already fallen in love with her back then?
- Why does the description here say sth about a full moon curse which isn't mentioned in the series at all? I thought he went crazy because he just had lost too much "energy".

Wow you're really a strong soldier for rewatching this drama. 😂😂 I don't want to deny that I enjoyed it, I really did, but I don't think I want to rewatch the whole thing. In hindsight, there was just too much absurdity and I don't think I can ignore that again knowing where all this is headed :'D

And I 1000% agree with you, "what a piece of 💩", there's so much wrong with the ML's behavior. He not only ignored her for years, even worse(!) instead of passively living beside her while trying not to get into her business, he keeps saying the most ridiculous, sometimes outright mean things, even controlling her life. Often I even got the impression that he is using her being mute against her.
...And then later his only excuse is "i wanted to protect you and didn't want to fall for you"? Like that excuse is just too weak imo to justify any of his behavior and win over the FL again.

I only vaguely remember the bedroom scene you described, but I vividly remember how extremely aggressive and rude he was when he told her that she's his "hostage" now on their wedding day or how he told her not to cook for him anymore. He failed in even the simplest things, when he just could have talked to her in a neutral way.
On top of that, all the phone calls when she gets kidnapped. If he really cared for her, we should have seen him more worried, but I guess its the director's choice not to show the viewer so that the "plot twist" of him having loved her all along is bigger. But it also gets way less convincing because of it.

I totally agree with you. It's so frustrating that the FL tolerates all of that.
Why? Yes, maybe like u said bcs her family is worse, I mean she has nowhere to turn to and the marriage actually helped her to get at least some distance from her mother. So I guess her behavior is kinda understandable.
But another reason is probably that she apparently also has loved him since she was young and probably believed he can still turn back into that loving and caring boy.
But like I wrote before, it was so unconvincing how she suddenly remembered having loved him all along. Like they brought it up waay too late, so for me as a viewer it kind of felt like she had partial amnesia before causing her to forget her feelings for him. Which just makes her insisting on the divorce so vehemently really strange...

Just finished 'When Destiny Brings The Demon' and while watching Arthur for 33eps my mind kept nagging me 'you know there is this one drama with him that you're still waiting for 🤪'. This whole thing makes me hate my memory. Let me just forget that I've ever heard about this 🫠
