I kept wondering where I had heard those bad sound effects before... and today it dawned on me, it sounds exactly like in bad Chinese vertical dramas. Thinkin about it now, it actually makes sense bcs the head company behind Seek Media Korea seems to be Chinese.
Man how I wished Myeongcheol and Hyeonseo would get another series together under a better production company *biggest sigh of the century*

I don't have a problem with their kisses tbh. Do I LOVE all of them? No. 😅 But do I HATE them? Also no. I've seen a lot worse 🤷‍♀️😂
But I definitely prefer the kisses in all the sweet scenes. Even the more aggressive ones looked better in the BTS of S1 before they chopped them up and deleted all seconds in which Haejun was reciprocating (which would have made them look more natural 🫤).
I think both actors have great chemistry and showed they do know how to kiss in other series. But here without decent directing and probably the only instruction of one being as passive as possible and the other being as aggressive as possible basically smothering him with kisses, they seem to be struggling quite a bit. 🥲
Anyways, I understand that can be offputting and their kisses here won't be everyone's cup of tea. 😅
Sorry for the TED talk, but I'll still defend the actors bcs this production being an absolute mess shouldn't be blamed on them 🥲

- Nonsensical dialogue ✅️
1. 🐶: "I have to pick up my grades tomorrow and I dont want to go alone." *proceeds to get them by mail*
Me: So with 'you dont want to go alone' you meant walk to the frking door 🙃⁉️
2. 📬🙋🏻‍♂️:Hello Mr Kim Haejun.
🐶: I'm Kim Haejun.
Me: *pretending I didnt hear this * ⁉️🤣
- Giving the rando girl (who btw already got rejected in S1🫠) wayy too much screentime and it's only ep 1 🤦🏼‍♀️
- Muting almost all natural sounds, adding the worst fake, loudass footsteps, liquid pouring and kissing sounds 😀✅️
- Dubbing everything but still managing to f up, so they magically speak though their mouths are shut and there's no sound though their mouths are moving 🧙‍♂️✅️
- Making a fuzz about Jaehun gifting Haejun an anklet bell (mind you, so he can always hear where he is) only for that bell to make a noticable sound exactly ONCE 😀✅️

No choppy editing and overly annoying music so far, but like proven in S1, good things take time!Everything can still go downhill from here. So guys, don't give up yet! 😀🙌🏻

Yees, I wrote that line down too, it's my close 2nd favorite! I also saved what Zhao said about unhappy marriages/couples and also what Mu said about Zhao being the only one being able to make her heart race. SO MANY good lines! 🥰🥹

You're so right about the writing! Usually, I always highlight great chemistry/acting, moving OSTs and interesting (no annoying/ one-dimensional) side characters, and although all those things are also absolutely phenomenal here, the thing I'd mention first when someone asked is the writing!
I haven't seen a drama that had such beautiful writing and great pacing in a long time. It felt slow, but not in a bad draggy way and rather in a thoughtful, good way. Like it was purposefully slowed down allow love to blossom gradually. 🥹💗 They used the time so wisely to show how love exists in the mundane and how it's not just the grand gestures, but also the little things that make one fall in love. In many new dramas the lovestory feels so rushed, only to squeeze in more drama and more plot lines (some of which end up unfinished 🫤), and to ultimately end in a rushed happy end with 10 minutes of real happiness. 🤦🏼‍♀️
But here there was no rushed confession, no hastily started relationship, no sudden ureasonable break and no rushed getting back together without clearing previous misunderstandings. Instead every gaze, every gentle touch, every kiss was intentional and filled with meaning and romance was finally given enough room to breathe! 😌🤍 Like you said a healing journey indeed! 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Just finished this masterpiece yesterday and if I wanted to list everthing I LOVED I wouldn't even know where to start. If you haven't watched it yet, you better go (no RUN) and start watching right now!!
I know I truly fell in love with a show that touched sth very deep in me when I start to jot down my favorite lines, so I'll just leave you with my favorite quote:
