I'm trying to figure out FnE but it's not coming to me?

I didn't really feel bad about the ending. They were in a such toxic relationship, no trust at all with each other especially the ML, hides everything from her even until the end. The only pro is the kisses and make out sessions.

Maybe it's the name or the Sword and fairy series. Seems like alot of haters. All the recent sword and fairy dramas didn't have high ratings, even with some high profile actors. This one with nearly unknown actors didn't stand a chance...

Why is everyone sad about the bad ending? I'm on episode 8 and I think the ML deserve his ending. He was such a piece of shit in his treatment of the FL and after he sexually assaulted the FL, she goes and asked if he was ok?? really? Unless he does a 180 in his behaviour later on, I don't think they should get a happy ending.

What were you expecting from RJL? would you rather a fake kiss?

I just watched the ending and I agree with you. It was a happy ending. The above comment made me think it was a bad ending, but it was nothing like that and not ambiguous at all. She wants to be with him and go with him wherever he wants.

Ok never mind. Found out the reason in later episode.

I don't get it. Why is SML so obsessed with a girl he met over 10 years ago? Nothing profound happened. She was lost and upset, he took her to police station. What was so significant about that? am I missing something??

I'm impressed with the fight scenes for a subpar production series. The ML and FL visuals and acting are quite good as well.

I guess she was just used to calling him out of habit. I haven't started it but just reading the comments and people seem to have issue with the 'sibling' relationship. I don't have issue with it as long as they are not blood related.

I thought gege/ oppa can be a term of endearment in Asian culture?

Agree the production/editing was bad. The fight scenes weren't that good either but it was enjoyable to me up until episode 10. I like Darren and Ren Min but 12 episodes were not enough to fill in all the plotholes and rush ending. We don't even know if the FL will be healed.

I was wondering why I didn't see this. That's not the ending for 2019 adaptation. I think you're referring to 2021 version.

This was also the 1st drama I've seen where students were dating in high school in a Chinese drama. Maybe this was before the banning?

I guess we'll find out in 4 days. I like ZJY but not a big fan of the ML. I didn't even like him in the popular A Love so Beautiful.

I've seen this on Netflix for a few years but the storyline didn't interest me. Usually unrequited love is so cringe, the FL will try to get the ML's attention by doing all sort of cringy stuff like Everybody loves me. This is actually refreshing. I like the FL's personality and she is savage in her comebacks even to the ML, and she's smart as well. I was running out of dramas to watch so decided to give it a try. I'm on episode 6 and I liking it so far. Hope this keeps up.
