I don't get it? I thought they didn't get the airing license. If they had the license, why wasn't it aired?

Yeah if the story is that long...4 or 5 seasons to cover the entire book. Probably will take 10 years to complete the drama. Just rewatch before the new season comes out :-)

haha time for a rewatch then! I think I should be done with this today, then I'm going to continue with JOL2. I stopped at episode 12 so have a few episodes to catch up.

That's a plan :-) I like the FL here more than in JOL. She actually feels like a main lead, rather than a support character. The ML would include her in all his adventures rather than tell her to wait at home for him.

Brave of you to watch both versions haha I don't think could go through the angst twice. I might check out the Chinese version. Not really into Korean drama nowadays.

Yes I feel like people like to complain just for the sake of complaining. They complained about the actors appearances and other superficial stuff but it has been 5 years...do they really expect people to look the same or that everyone is going to return as if they don't have lives? Agree, the story has to move along but it still has the same vibe that makes season one so enjoyable to watch. I haven't seen Scarlet heart but I heard it was good but a sad ending so I might give it a try when I have nothing good to watch.

Wow 5 seasons!?...with the pace of 2nd season, these actors are going to be too old to play their characters lol

ah good to know. Too bad there is no season 2 in sight yet. I'm halfway though this. Hopefully the ending won't make me frustrated and long for season 2.

It seems like many people don't like the FL. I don't have any issue with her or her acting but I don't get why she didn't want to learn martial arts especially when that highly skilled old man wanted to teach her.

why can't they just change his name and call it a fictional character? I'm sure they are ways to work around it.

I just watched episode 10 and it's so fun and I think has the same vibe as season 1. It's amazing to me that people who like season 1 won't be into season 2. I'm enjoying this so much!

Not likely at all. Maybe 10 years ago. I haven't seen any c-dramas in the last few years where the ML has multiple wives/love interests he was sleeping with.

You can always rewatch before season 3 is out? unless you never rewatch any dramas.

I like your support both dramas. I don't know why people have to choose or down vote another drama to support the one they like.

Someone recommended this because I like Joy of Life. It's interesting so far but a bit slow. I'm also not impressed with the style of fighting here...I'm not used to the slow fighting and usually assisted by CGI or they fight off screen.

It's pretty obvious MDL is a Kdrama haven. All the tops dramas are Kdramas and most kdramas have over 10k watchers. Only a handful of cdramas have over 10k watchers.

Alot of people haven't rated it yet. Only those that are quick to judge and impatient will rate it after a couple of episodes.
