I was told in the drama she was adopted into the Royal family but in the novel, they were siblings and she has a thing for the emperor but I don't think they adapted that in the drama.

Oh interesting. I've never heard of NPC being used like this. I would say no in this case. She's the assistant, so it comes with the territory that she's going be somewhat powerless and make some idiotic decisions but overall, I think she can hold her own.

I love Song Joong Ki. Yes I can sorta see it when he was younger. The ML from Undercover Affair has another short series which is pretty good as well - Miss Mystery. You should check it out if you haven't.

Have you seen Autumn's Concerto? it's on Netflix. It was one of my first Taiwanese drama. The little kid there was so cute!!

It's not a happy ending but a satisfying one. I love Taiwanese drama when it is done right. But if you like drama with kids, try Please be my family. There are 2 cute kids there and it's a decent watch...drag a bit in the end.

I had to drop this at episode 19. Can't take the stupid actions of the mains anymore. So frustrated to watch FL being easily manipulated by SFL and she's not even a smart villain either. 6/10

if you want to watch on Netflix, I would recommend More than Blue, the series. It's so good but prepare to have some tissues handy.

I've seen the killer is also Romantic. This one was a nice watch. If you like that, try butterflied lover as well, same universe. I've seen some with Richard Li but they usually end in tragedy. I have to check but the name sounds familiar.
