I'm not sure what you're talking about? which S+ dramas are starting rookie actresses? I've watched Journey to love, Legend of shen li, Joy of life and now the Double. All led by actresses in their 30s and they are amazing actresses.

Really? all the big budget dramas are still staring veteran actresses from what I've seen - Lu shi shi, Yang Zi, Zhou Li Ying, Bai Lu, Wu Jin Yan etc. The actors are usually the younger ones.

The ML is SO HOT. I watched him in My everlasting bride but didn't find him as attractive then. Maybe it's the style of his hair. I could just stare at his face all day. This started out really funny and unserious drama. The romance is a bit lacking though and only a couple of kisses and they were meh but it was a fun watch.
