a well-planned introduction to a cute romatic comedy? suspense?

I really enjoyed the starting of this new series. I confess I mainly came for LSG, but was happily surprised to find myself enjoying LSY's sassy take on the idealistic lawyer. The series was able to maintain a good balance between cuteness and pathos with these hints of darkness that saves it from being too cloying (kind of reminded me of JCW's Suspicious Partner, which is one of my all-time favourites). I LOOOOVE the production values of K-dramas. Few asian series can match the Koreans in this. Fingers crossed it'll continue to intrigue. Because I really, really, really want to bask in LSG's puppy dog eyes

A solid start but could be tighter

Without going into details, i felt the episode dragged in the bit where they show his reason for embarking on the revenge path. We all knows what was going to happen, the actual happening could have been given less screen time

The team slowly comes together

This episode purportedly wraps up the 1st case (with several tantalizing loose ends to ensure future political shenanigans) and we see the crime solving squad slowly come together.

still entertaining, but could be shortened

Unfortunately, this episode saw quite a bit of fillers that took away from the crispness of the story

The perfect blend of lighthearted fun and political shenanigans with a great cast

I came to this series with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the competence and watchability. On one hadn you have a frivolous yet brilliant pretty boy lead but all around him are deliciously dark and treacherous political eddies. The cast is capable and there are some really interesting characters. Will be continuing with the series
