I've rewatched some parts. The actor playing Joe is amazing, look at his face every time Ming has one of his red flags moments. We can see it in Joe's face, that he also notice it.

Exactly! Sol is like the nicest man on earth, and still Joe doesn't love him. He loves Ming, flawed and all.

Love is a very complex thing. I think he loves Joe but he is an obsessive person, so his love can't be different.

Joe fell in love with selfish, manipulative rich boy Ming. OK, he didn't know about him being in love with Tong, but Ming never told Joe that he loved him, never told him that they were boyfriends, he showed Joe all his red flags. Ming said more that once that they weren't a couple. Joe love him with all his flaws, it would be stupid for Ming to become someone different now.

I really don't know why people just don't enjoy how different and refreshing Ming is as a character. Don't get me wrong, he is toxic AF, but I'm so tired of the classic BL character. Besides, there are actuall people just like him and they aren't even rich and handsome, so he is as real as we can get. And people like Joe also exist. He knows very well who Ming is, he just can't stop wanting him. He could had taken the money from Sol, but nope. Why do you think that they show us all these people offering him money? Just for him making the deal with Ming at the end. He needed an excuse to not feel bad about himself while being with Ming.

It's just an excuse to be with Ming. He could have taken money from Sol or Wut, but no.

It's a really good show, the plot is unpredictable. Best BL of the year so far.

The answer is so simple: He is in love with Ming.

I'm right there, Ming is a breath of frech air. He isn't good, far from it, and that's great.

We all know it's a TV show. What's the problem with liking Up's portrayal of Ming? That doesn't mean we would do the same in real life.
