I agree. I like Changyu being badass and all, but not at the expense of Xie Zheng who is supposed to be the greatest…
I think it's more like.. Becoz he haven't revealed his identity to FL.. But anyway, it was frustrating still. But at least FL is consistent with her skills.. Even novel version of her is the same.
can I say how much I hate the writers dragging XZ hiding his identity? like we know the purpose is to let CY take…
At first it was necessary for ML to keep his identity since has enemies but now.. It doesn't make sense coz FL is already in his camp where he can protect her.. Also thr Li an village got massacred so it was less baggage for ML now.. So I don't know why lie.. If the reason he didn't tell her is becoz of their status discrepancy that's BS... We're almost half thr series and reaching 30 episode how long can he keep lying. His reason is now getting shallow. Poor chan yu.
Guys, tune in to the drama of the little fairy Zhou Ye in Dream of Golden Years, it just started and she is absolutely…
That's in my list.. Definitely gonna watch zhou ye drama after Pursuit of jade. More episode is better than waiting.. Look at us now suffering with 1 episode per day for POJ
What are people's favorite episodes to rewatch? Finally caught up and the daily episodes are killing me
My favorite was definitely chang yu's fights. In episode 18 when she killed the leader riding the horse and this recent episode when she killed the enemy general. It was baddass
Everyone is talking about FL being mad at ML for hiding his identity. If I were ML I'd be pretty upset my bride…
That's not even the same. ML technically lied big time and repeatedly.. Her actions were technically his own fault for lying to her.. If she told him thst he's the marquis she won't even have to fight.. This is mentioned in the teaser for ep 27.. FL said if she knew thst he's the marquis she won't even need to fight... So they are not even.. ML made a whole show in front of her.
ngl I kind of lol'd when she went on the battle field with a butcher knife
Her butcher knife is more durable than their weapon đđ.. It took long enough before her enemy can destroy her knife.. Xie Zheng should fix her heirloom butchering knife with the same material.
She straight butchered him đseriously though you see her first trying to slice him but itâs all armor, then…
Despite not having any experience.. She seems to have battle IQ. I liked that she kinda test the waters, trying to see how strong her opponent and when her attacks didn't do much on his armor.. She uses her Brain by climbing on top of him to stab him and if strength is not working, she uses speed.. Dang girl!!!
I partly agree with you on most things, just like you mentioned XZ hinted it to her and WAR is HELL we both know…
I don't even mind at all.. Given that in episode 27.. His lies outweight chang yu's action. Chang yu has a fresh wound, she saw her whole village massacred.. In her perspective, Xie zheng is wounded, weak.. At least it's what they wanted her to see..so her finding out that she's protecting a man / her husband who is actually a marquis and a strong man will not sti well on her.. Imagine she must have felt betrayed and felt stupid coz of that lie. She must be thinking that Xie zheng is making her feel stupid coz she's already illiterate, she's basically thinking he is playing with her.
Her only mistake was going in his place instead of following military order (not order and being ordered, but…
True.. I don't even mind him getting drugged coz it can be prevented if he just told the truth.. But then of course some bird brain will say thar she deserved to be punished for drugging Xie zheng when he himself lied and acted like some incapable soldier.
The discussions and reactions today are pretty mixed, so here are my thoughts on episode 26.
I think there are key conversations in the story that hint at how much a personâs actions can be influenced by what theyâre toldâor not told.
First, the tent scene between Xie Zheng and Chang Yu. When he casually asked âifâ he became a marquis, would she accept being his wifeâand she said yesâthat honestly felt like the perfect moment for him to tell the truth. He was already opening the topic
Second, right before he was drugged. Itâs clear the officers follow his lead, so the lie didnât just happen randomly. But what stood out is that Chang Yu even offered to go to war in his place. Instead of assuring her, he downplayed his role, saying his presence wasnât that importantâlike he was just another soldier and it wouldnât make much difference.
From Chang Yuâs perspective, her decision makes sense. Sheâs been told multiple times that heâs injured and not in a condition to fight, and even he keeps minimizing his role. Of course sheâd be worried about him, and at the same time think that stepping in wouldnât change much.
Thatâs why, in a non-biased view, those two scenes already explain why Chang Yu chose to go to battle instead of Xie Zheng. It wasnât just a random decisionâher understanding of the situation was shaped by what she was told and what he chose not to say.
Iâm not saying itâs entirely on Xie Zheng⊠but he definitely didnât make it any easier for her to see the full picture.
It's based on novel. Too late to complain about the writer coz it's been written long ago. The novel is actually…
U seem like new to chinese drama.. I've seen worst so her defeating a big enemy is not that surprising given that shes naturally strong in the perspective of the drama and novel
It's just the mess of Xie Zheng's own making. It's as simple as that. He knew very well that how Fan Changyu is…
Coz it's Xie zheng fault from thr start.. All of this wouldn't happen if he told the truth... At first chang yu might have been wrong but this time.. Her actions was more becoz Xie zheng acted like he's some foot soldier and his appearance is not that important.. He acts weak in front of her.. Whar do u expect?
