YW! People are already calling those who were uncomfy with those scenes uptight, puritans or moral police - and i feel like this is disregarding other people's experience. I truly, honestly do not care what other people like, but why should I be ashamed to express that i disliked something if i didn't shame someone else? Why are many users are ganging up on those who express their discomfort? But i guess i shouldn't be surprised. Even if it wasn't, behaviour like that is not something i fw, makes me feel uncomfortable. If other people are fine with it - cool, but i'm not. So i guess the series is just not for me, even with the removal of majority of the questionable parts.

Yep, i remember not that long ago saying that i didn't want to read the novel because of SA scenes, i just couldn't bear to read something that contains scenes that i find deeply uncomfortable. Now i kinda want to drop the show too, even though it is entertaining, and i want to know what happens next, i fear something like that may happen again.

Also, regarding WSW being in pain: There shouldn't be any, if you prepared well enough, even if it was your first time. A feeling of uncomfortableness is okay, but not straight up pain....shows thst CC doesn't care as much as he claims, sadly.

I've seen the post that said that the author of the original novel (Chai Ji Dan) now thinks of her novel as problematic, and urged people not to read it, but instead, watch the show. She wanted to replace problematic parts with comedy. But it seems like we now have both problematic parts AND comedy lol. And here i thought that CC character is about to change for the better, especially when he said not that long ago that he doesn't want to force himself on Suowei. Seems like it was a lie.

But in all seriousness, it felt like any character development Day had simply VANISHED in the last two episodes, just like any affection he had for Mhok. It really started to feel like a one sided relationship here. Why did Day even agreed to be together again if apparently, judging by his actions, he disliked Mhok so much?

I just feel so bad for Mhok, he did everything he could with the cards he was dealt with, and still ate shit for no reason. It's like the series hated Mhok all along, but only showed its true face in the last two eps.

This was an amazing ten episode drama! Really liked that it ended on a hopeful note, however the ending was kinda rushed i think, but still good. Kinda weird that they decided to do 10 eps instead of their usual 12eps format, but oh well.

Oh, that's good i decided to not read the novel like i usually do then. That would ruin my appetite for the series for sure.

I like dark stories, but not "making abuse and SA seem like it's okay in a relationship" kind of stories...

1) This season was a complete character assassination for EVERYONE in every possible meaning
2) This felt more like an action drama instead of a thriller it was supposed to be
3) Every "deep and important" messages this season had season 1 delivered in tenfolds and i wish series stopped there
4) No meaningful conversations AT ALL. Not ONE. All action, barely any talking.
5) Deaths lacked any depth behind them. No one talked or thought about their dead friends, even those who died in front of them. Edit: Except for we all know who. But even this was presented as a haha look what a lunatic way.

I couldn't give less of a damn about the ending, season one wasn't rainbows and sunshine either. This WHOLE SEASON was a regular Netflix disaster. This season crumbled under the same thing the series criticised: Greed.

Yep lol Squid Game is especially faulty in this cause wdym actors commited actual crimes, you knew about it, and still hired them? Istg male actors just get a slap on the wrist and that's all.

You had such a promising show in your hands, and you did what? Removed any emotional impact those characters had, made their deaths the most pointless thing in the show, and in the end, none of this didn't even matter! Not ONE thing those characters did mattered! The only thing that did, are the leftovers from the first and second season (Cheol finding his mother and Noeul finding her daughter), and even this felt like thrown out scraps.

Jun Hee sacrificed herself, so Gihun could take care of her child. Now, Gihun is dead because he forgot to press a button ✌️✌️ and Jun Hee's child in care of some rando man she never ever met.

You would think that Myeonggi would redeem himself with the sad looks he throws at her now and then? Nah, he was actually a rat all along. Which, lol, i can take that, but why the sad looks then?

Did camaraderie formed between Gihun and Inho, which led to them questioning their own morals, EVER mattered in this season? NO!

What about the Hwang brothers? Did they talk shit out at least once? You can wish, brother, but not there.

Not gonna talk about Junhos character at all because he's as useless here as he was in second season, which is devastating, because he was amazing in the first one.

And I'm not even talking about turning Daeho from a marine with PTSD into a petty liar, this will make me furious for weeks.

You tried to put some lesson on morality in this show? Welp, you completely and utterly failed in this season. Because any attempt to put some morality veil over this dumpster on fire failed miserably. This is not about some questions on humanity anymore, this is an action/thriller cashgrab. And this is a tragedy, because the first season was phenomenal. It's a shame it turned into this.

(Really ironic though that the only character that somewhat mattered is Minsu, and i always felt like no one cares about him but me, and he STILL was thrown away without any thought at the end, like every other character)
