Ik right? Why do gay/homosexual men get to have words that have set in stone definition, but we don't? Why do homosexual women have to be more "inclusive"? I'm so tired of this BS.
I get to gatekeep tho pookie, cause i'm a lesbian. Lesbian always meant and will mean a woman who is exclusively attracted to other women. NBs have the word sapphic. Stop erasing our words, they have damn meanings for a reason.
Edit: Even google has the real definition and yall still don't get it bfr if some lesbians decide to date someone who is not a woman, or not a lesbian, that doesn't make this person a lesbian too, and will also mean (in case of person being not a woman) that the first woman in question is not a lesbian, but sapphic. You should stop being afraid of using words such as bisexual pansexual etc instead of continuing using the word lesbian for someone who is clearly not one.
"Do we not deserve BLs with actual plot? Thrillers? Detectives, action? Hell, medical dramas? "I don't disagree…
Well, dramas like the ones i mentioned quite often have deeper plots AND include prominent straight romances. Do we not deserve something similar? Friendly Rivalry, which is borderline GL, has great plot, and it is considered to be a thriller. Thai BLs have paranormal plots, detective plots, crime, etc. The relationship is still the centre of attention, but you can have something else interesting to look at too. Is it not boring to have the same recycled miscommunication plot over and over again? Personally, i think that more plot heavy BLs/GLs would bring us more positive attention. But, yknow, it's just imho.
Hmm. You would think that in the grand 2025 we will get better shows than in, let's say, 2021, because the budget is better now. I guess i was wrong. Instead, we got a boring miscommunication plot.
Sure, the screentime is not 10~ minutes now, which is just grand. But why does it matter if it's wasted on a whole lot of nothingness? Do we not deserve BLs with actual plot? Thrillers? Detectives, action? Hell, medical dramas? Perhaps a slice of life with a side of some conflicts here and there? Miscommunication had been made a thousand times before, and admittedly, way better than here.
I can't say that the drama is entirely bad. The acting is nice, it looks nice, characters have chemistry. Too bad it's all wasted on a bland plot. Perhaps it could've been better, if they had more time for character and feelings development, if it hadn't been so rushed. But instead....you have this.
I have no idea why they choose to use Samsung Galaxy 9+, it is like 6.5 years old phone!!!
Bro I'm pretty sure people who couldn't afford to buy better phones irl use them even longer than that.... My phone is having its 4th birthday this year lol. Maybe it's done for realism.
"3 HOT guys!!! hahahah Hui Su - CUTE, Seung Won - HANDSOME HOT and Chang Yeong - HOT HOT HOOOOOOTTTT!!!! Oh my…
Wow, hell, misogynistic much? You do know that there's a report button AND a warning above the comment section for a reason? But i guess some people just lack the ability to see something like that behind the acid they spit from their mouths on daily basis.
I would personally agree with you and say that they were incompatible from the beginning. Jin Hwan states that…
He does comes off as someone who would see something such as deliberately confusing a person he hadn't seen in eight years just for the lolz as something entertaining. Especially considering that back then, the thought that Min Jun ghosted him for no reason ("no reason"), so that action could easily be seen as something he did just to poke at Min Jun. The fact that he's casually smiling the whole time (Perhaps knowing how this could be taken as a mockery) doesn't make it better. So yes, he can be kind of an ass to the person he likes, a deeply insecure person at that.
Honestly, speaking from a perspective of a person with an avoidant attachment style, it's very hard to overcome your fears and insecurities, especially if you've been feeding them for eight years. For eight years, you thought that someone you really liked for the first time in your life used you for fun. It builds up such a high wall of doubts around your persona, you wouldn't believe it. You start questioning every little thing.
Was Min Jun right in leaving without asking for an explanation? Perhaps not. But let's be honest here, it's very common among gay people to sleep with each other purely for exploration, especially between men. And Min Jun is young, inexperienced, and very hurt, so from his point of view, that's exactly what happened.
Are you willing to be with such a person and spend an unknown amount of time reassuring them? It's up to an individual. But ultimately, it's a kind of behaviour you can understand when you know where it's coming from, taking into consideration for how long you've been living with this insecure monster inside your head.

I would personally agree with you and say that they were incompatible from the beginning. Jin Hwan states that the difference between them makes it fun, but fails to be considerate of those differences. It's the small things, like saying that he would call, and not even sending a text before his phone dies down. I wouldn't say that he's cruel, but he doesn't even notice those small things that Min Jun does.
Sure, relationship like that maybe could function, if you put a lot of work into it. But with a cloudy minded person like Jin Hwan and someone as insecure as Min Jun? Hmm. Jin Hwan says that he's willing to work for it, but so far, he chases only after the fun parts of relationship.
Thank goodness the drama didn’t waste too much time on the joke of a "relationship" between Ba Reum and Bong…
The comments her own grandmother made about Bong I's "assets", a 19 y.o girls body to a grown ass MAN were distressing as hell. Anything else with them feels as equally creepy, even without the context of.... everything.
finally someone speaking facts and not garbage like these other sick people..!!
"I don't support lgbt" are we fr? In the grand 2025? Personally, i discriminate against straight people, so seeing you at the BL page is very distressing to me :/ please leave and never return.

Still don't understand how are people here at fault if apparently the die-hard parasocial ship fans are the ones who made the situation worse. Mind you, it's still considering that situation by itself was already very bad, without the fan's intervention.

Looked up into the ohmnanon scandal and it seems like the problem lies in Ohm being not such a great person overall and Nanon being uncomfortable cause of it. It is an individual choice to forgive the person who screwed up, not sure why you're blaming people in this section tho, personally i hear about them for the first time ever.

My country used to be not progressive, but it was okay, mediocre. Like China. There's no way you would see LGBT on big screens, but there were shows where you could see homoerotic undertones, topic of homosexuality was talked about in TV shows as a neutral one. Hell, we had lgbt books out in the open, in bookstores, i even bought one! But now? All of it, gone. Criminalised. Put to jail for mouthing the word "gay". Our people thought too that small steps would make it. But don't worry. Continue thinking like that, that nothing will hurt your people if you just keep being timid, and this bright future will be shining for you too.
But after all, you're not queer, just an "ally". This will not impact you, specifically, in any way. Just someone like me.

Do you know that if we don't say anything, those "conservative dinosaurs" (There's as much bigoted young people just as older ones btw), will just push and push on us until we're gone? They're not interested in listening to us. Those people who are, already did. Everyone else doesn't care if it's a "small dose" or a full pledged BL, they will hate on it anyway! And on us. And if we bend under them, nothing will change. In fact, it could only get worse, like in my country, for example: Where every mention of LGBT is criminalised and posed as "propaganda", any lgbt work is censored to nothingness, you can get jailed for a rainbow pin on you blouse, or holding your gfs hand.
So, yeah, continue bending. It can and it will get worse.
What are you "pissed at?" Other people disagreeing with you? "We got to see through his point of view all the…
Yep, sure. We should stick to the "traditional values", right? The same ones that don't protect women for shit in Korea and those not giving af if something bad happens to openly gay people? Those who let korean people be openly racist to foreigners? Cause changing cultural norms is not important at all, it's better if we all stay in the stone age society wise, actually!
