As a former child I cannot tell you how many times I did sneaky things and I was so good, young people can be very devious , intelligent and smart. They use friends and studies as excuse. In India for example there is a huge drug scandal especially in Delhi and parents (well meaning good) people are sometimes the last to know. Unless you lock teenagers in you can never be 100 sure of their safety and well being. They will find a way out if they want to. This is why parents must also focus on creating the public spaces that your kids go to a safe space by voting for the right people and raising their voices against powerful people which is what I feel her aunt is trying to do

Most likely 1) he wanted to move on 2) she wanted more commitment etc. Anything you can think of in a groomer groomee relationship, where the younger person grows up and exert their self respect and individuality could have happened. And the person who dominates then moves on looking for new pastures (IMHO)

Yoo Ah In, they reported with lots of relish, but MDL is mysteriously quiet about him. It’s almost as if they are in his pockets. Very poor journalism MDL. You are supposed to be a drama forum/ website and things like this which are almost “whistleblower” like and show how the unfortunate are exploited should be reported by you guys.
Yeah like those cosy fantasy books like - legends and latte or house on cerulean sea… just vibes, coziness and a cup of chai or chocolate… I love when k drama gives us the drama version of a book.

They turn into massive bullies if the leads especially the female lead is not super young, hot, thin and good looking. They complain about styling or makeup or something . Make it make sense. I honestly think that the content has got diluted and the stories more banal. Also now increasingly we have more global misogynistic crowds watching so female lead shaming (body, character and age) has increased massively. Something which was not there before. I was a very active poster on MDL but now I am not here often at all. And the k drama content, since it’s more catering to audiences is also becoming less experimental and more formulaic.

I would agree with you but only to an extent. I think international viewers are also getting jaded and bored. I saw many comments of people saying that k dramas are getting boring on threads and Reddit. It’s Netflix effect I think. Innovative dramas don’t get produced and only boring samey dramas with popular actors get green light. And many international folks are also bored. They start and drop it midday. The engagement on MDL is also much less
