Grand Tutor and LeJun are two-faced and weasely. I have no empathy for them. I finished watching eighteen episodes, and can't wait to see the ending.

I have reached episode 10 of KTHPH. I have to say that Wu Yi and Xia Yu became my favorite couple of the year. Hou Ming Hao and Ai Mi own their respective characters. The last time I saw them in the same drama, was in Fangs of Fortune, which is one of my Top 5 costume dramas. Who knew back then, that they would be cast as the main couple in a costume drama? Ai Mi's acting skills are very impressive.

What about Emperor's POV?

I am watching episode 3. Doesn't Li Mao/Prince Qi resemble Xiao Wu Yi, especially with the long hairstyle?

I have to admit that I have not seen a drama conspiracy plot progress so quickly in the first four episodes. Xie Jia Yu's mother and father were acting suspicious. Regent Prince Qi/Li Mao is one step away from his biological father's ambition for his son to become emperor. Are Xiao Wu Yi and Li Mao, once friends, destined to become enemies for the kingdom?

The reason Mr Xie do not want his daughter Yao Yao to marry Li Mao, is because they are siblings.

Is Prince Changsha in episode 1, the same as the character listed as Duke of Changsha in the credits? Zhang Yu Jian looks so different... and older. I haven't seen him in a few years.

LOL I just discovered this drama today. I have to catch up on 24 episodes.

Two observations of episode 24:

1. That ending between Bu Lin Shu and Cui Jin Bai! Was the censorship police around?

2. Princess Yaoxi is now Consort Shu. Is she, 17ish, and Emperor, 50ish?

I saw his name in the castlist, and realized he was the prince. His face changed, except for the eyes.

How did she end up in the river?

He gets more dramatic scenes in ep 18. He should be in the top three supporting actors behind Bu Shu Lin and Cui Jin Bai actors.

That is the most convoluted side story in the drama. Is she 100% Xi He with her father and brother, but 50% Xi He/Qingzhi with Prince Xin? I haven't decided who she is with Crown Prince. LOL Is Qingzhi's soul using Xi He's shell to get her revenge on the Emperor and her husband?

Is Prince #5 the real villain? Is he going to attempt to kill CP over jealousy and revenge? He should stop doing the stare acting, and start plotting his schemes.

Xi He might be the only person who fell into the river, at the same spot where Gu Qingzhi died. I am assuming that is where Gu drowned. Imagine if a man had fallen into the rive instead. LOL

ML and his brothers are obsessed with Xi He. New Guy in town, Mu Nu Ha, joined the club. I wonder what happened to the other three princes. They showed up, and went away.

Shen Bao Ping is the go-to actor for monk roles. I think I have seen him play a monk in three dramas.

I am with you. Prince Xin did not move me with his kneeling in the rain, like the scene from Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo, which was beautifully done because of the heartbreaking song. Then poisoning himself so Xi He would have to save him. She should have stood there and watch him die. He is obsessive and manipulative, like every other character in the drama.

Xi He is smart and perceptive, but she fell into the Princess' trap. That Prince Mu Nu Ha is planning to seduce her. Maybe we will be surprised in episode 18. Crown Prince might show up suddenly.

My Black drama friends loved him, and talked about him. I thought who is this Peter Ho? 🤣🤣 Then I saw the Fox Volant drama, and said, "Why?"🤨 I didn't watch Nothing Gold Can Stay, but I remember when it was airing.
