That was so unnecessary. They should let him survive, and marry Qin Ron at the end.

He went delulu in the final two episodes. 🤣

It felt like he was smirking in every episode. 😂

I haven't finished the drama. I am still wrapping up episode 28. Old Madam's daughter-in-law was her birth daughter. The writers went off on the deep end.

The MDL moderator should move Xie Shu from Guest Role to Supporting Role. Despite his irritating face, he really stands out in the plot.

He is too-faced and duplicitous to the end. The actor has a youngish face. He looked as young as 30 in Granny's flashbacking scene in episode 28. The makeup artist was very good. You should check him out in Archives Nanyang Mystery. I didn't like his character in either drama.

The Xie family story is the most convoluted plot. They deserve the Group Extraneous Overacting Award. I lost half of the plot. I started choking when the Old Granny said, "I also used to be your mother's mother".

Not surprised at the bad editing. It looks like they hired an editor from many dramas, with bad editing skills.

I am hesitant to watch it. Sounds like a change in writers, and Director got bored.🤣🤣🤣

Finally! I can't stand to watch Xie Shu, Granny, First Madam and her daughter, and that plus size maid.

They looked so snide and disingenuous at the wedding, especially Xie Shu. I hope he loses his head.

I want to see Xie Shu, First Madam, Commander Hu at the gallows.

When Xie Shu falls, his entire family should fall. The women will be sent to the Imperial Music Bureau. LOL Reference to Against the Current and previous dramas! This is why Emperor decreed that Qing Yuan's family name revert to Chen... so she will not be punished alongside the Xie women.

And the Marquis Li!

I watched the wedding episode last night. Shen Run charging into the Li Mansion on his white horse was outstanding. Was it the same horse in episode 1? His proposal and the imperial decree was brilliant theater. Qing Yuan never looked happie at that moment in time.

Those fossils, Marquis, Xie Shu, First Madam, Commander Hu are the lowest slugs in Hengtang. They might the criminals that Shen Run is looking for. I hope they are sent to the gallows.

Is she, Han Liang's future wife?

He's still optimistic. I don't think he grasps the depth of distrust he caused when he pulled out the Imperial Decree on his wedding day. He apologized with a slight smile. He should have been crying, to get some sympathy from her.

When he said that, I thought that Emperor cannot be a fool. When he called the guards to arrest him and the other guy, I applauded.

LOL When I read your comment about ML taking "those licks" for his sister, I had to check your bio. I only heard that word in the South Caribbean (...Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana).

Did Han Liang meet his future companion, Lady Dong? I think that was her name.
