It is as if she doesn't know her daughter will suffer if the fl marries the sml because he won't pay any attention…
Firdt Madam is spineless and devious, and jealous. Xie Shu must have bypassed her for the services of the concubines. She eliminated two, who were smarter than Second and Third Madam.

Oh man! Should have watched AtC episode 36 first before watching SotB episode 24 because now I’m on cloud 9…
I have been watching ATC in the morning, and SOTB at night, to keep the plots, characters, and actors separate in my mind. It is already blurring with the Xie and Lin family members. Too many females in the cast with similar assisgnments! 🤣🤣🤣

There’s a man in red with a white horse offering his lover his red robes! 😍 We’ve waited so long for this.
I usually wait until the nighttime to watch the daily SOTB episodes. I am missing out on the action. I saw the seduction scene last night.

Is Xie Yu (in the MDL credits) the same as Xie Shu (on the drama subtitles)? Actor Fu Da Long was the irritating villain, Mo Yun Gao, in Archives: The Nanyang Myster. He had one blue eye or glass eye, and the hair was covering his eye. I thought Xie Shu looked familiar.

Title Spring of the Blade Spoiler
It looks like it will be a short promotion.
I wonder if it will be the Prime Minister. 🤣🤣 Last year or the year before, two consecutive costume dramas had a Prime Minister as the villain. It must be someone high up in the palace. Is the mastermind, the adopted father of that county princess?

Title Spring of the Blade
I agree. The focus on Xie family is starting to feel repetitive and annoying. It would've been better had they…
I zone out during the Xie family scenes. Xie Shu looks out of character.

He was, that's why there was blood on it when it was brought in.
That would be a shocker, if it was staged by Shen Run.
