I didn't think this was an argument as I am only calling out what I see which is an implication, as I've mentioned before, "that two people/men kissing is impure and not innocent which has homophobic connotations and/or at the very least suggests that intimate acts between any two people (such as kissing) is somehow sinful." I am not twisting your words and am only rephrasing what you said.
You said having no kissing scene between Kurodachi "stayed true to Kurodachi's and the drama's over-all innocent pure love vibes." In other words, this means that having a kissing scene would not have "stayed true to Kurodachi's and the drama's over-all innocent pure love vibes." Thus, no kissing scene = innocent pure love vibes; kissing scene = (not) innocent (not) pure love vibes. This is the reason why I chose the words "impure," "not innocent," and "sinful." By attaching these sentiments to a depiction of a same-sex relationship, a homophobic connotation is formed.
Based on your response I can see those implications were not your intention which is why I think it's important to pay attention to how we phrase the things we say as to not give off these implications. Also, me calling out what I view as having homophobic connotations and such is not unhealthy nor negative, it's important to talk about these things so that they don't happen again.

I totally agree with your point about the effects of the teased kiss and Adachi/Kurosawa wearing t-shirts in bed. When I watched those scenes I felt like they were a bit uncanny (not sure if this is the best word choice). Like the mood shifted especially with the teased kiss as if the 4th wall was broken since the intentions of the scene seemed to be very clear (the intention being to tease the audience).

I don't think it's correct to say that Kurodachi kissing (peck or not) would stray away from the "innocent pure love vibes" of the drama. What you mentioned implies that two people/men kissing is impure and not innocent which has homophobic connotations and/or at the very least suggests that intimate acts between any two people (such as kissing) is somehow sinful.

Right! I honestly think that knowing that Kurosawa had a one-sided love for that long of a time would have overwhelmed Adachi and made him feel even more presssured to be the best partner so I don't think he knew. It's so hard to figure out if Adachi and Kurosawa would have ended up together if it weren't for the magic since that's what gave Adachi the confidence to even talk to Kurosawa in the first place, which led to a whole domino effect of them getting closer and Kurosawa not being able to bear just being a friend/colleague and then finally him confessing to Adachi. Though, they might have naturally gotten closer another way, but I think without the magic, it would take a much longer time for their romantic relationship to start if it ever would :'( I wonder how long Kurosawa would have waited for him even after 7 years...
