I'm not planning on writing a review on CM because I am no where near qualified to do so, but I just wanted to post somewhere how impressed I am with the production of this drama. I am the type of person who cannot be fully immersed in a show/film if it's ridden with mistakes, be it from editing, continuity, camerawork, etc. most likely because I study film and am a video editor *swirls glass of wine and puts pretentious glasses on* so I'm more aware of those kinds of things. However, I am so happy to find close to zero of these in CM. It really made my viewing experience so much more enjoyable and am sure it did the same for others too. You can tell that the production team put so much effort and care into the smallest of details. If there are any other film geeks out there, I would love to chat with you about CM!

Thank you for making the effort in correcting yourself! :) I think it would still be better to say something like "that's the expected life society has for a man" since "typical" is an adjective of "normal." I also just went back to the first ep and in the sub I watched he said that that he feels Fujisaki-san is a nice girl, but nothing more and that even if he did try to make a move on her it wouldn't work. It's so crazy how there are different translations for the same thing.

OMG I am so stupid! I've watched the last ep twice and when he kneeled down I was like, "Wow, this looks like a proposal." But now looking back on what he was saying, it sounded like it was one too!

Based on the interview with one of the writers it seems liked they changed the characters and plot a bit. The way they describe it, it seems like the characters from the drama and the characters from the manga are a bit distinct from each other. I haven't read the manga so I'm not actually sure how much was changed but I'm kind of scared to now because I just love the drama characters so much and don't want them to be different T-T

I literally just did the written equivalent of begging on my knees in this form T-T I really hope they consider making a season 2. I would love to see how Kurosawa and Adachi's relationship develops and want to see more of Fujisaki-san ;-; A lot of times sequels don't end up that great but if the same writers were to do season 2 I think I would have more faith in the outcome
