that random "Sex" Dream scene was included because it personally ruined my experience with the show sigh.…
Thank you. You saved me from watching this show. I almost started it because I liked him in The Winning Try. I guess I'm skipping it now. Not a fan of the western style.
I really donât understand all the negativity in the comments. The drama is actually quite good. The leads and second leads are all likable, and there arenât many dull moments. The romance works well, and the bit of thriller adds enough tension to keep things engaging. Plus, the humor is absolutely 10/10. The ex is such a hilarious characterâI laughed out loud in almost all of his scenes. By the end, you stop hating him and just accept that this is who he is, and you start to wonder how the FL ever thought someone like him would make good husband material.
During the second half of the show, I found myself caring only about the Princess and the Emperor. The chemistry was off the charts. I absolutely hate the ending they gave themâespecially her saying she only loved his brother. It is such a terrible ending that I stopped caring about the main couple and the last episoade. đ˘
This show started off great for the first 20 episodes, but then it became kind of boring. In the end, Haochenâs storyline was the only thing that kept it interesting. The final episode felt rather empty without his inclusion. Because of this I give it 8/10. It could have been higher if we got scenes with them as a family in the end and not a business scene.
Don't like how this going. Loved it until Xu Yan files divorce against the bastard selfish Shen Haoming. Xu Yan…
Shen Haoming knew sheâd hired actors to pretend to be her parents, knew she lied about her sister being her cousin, knew sheâd sold her car to pay off blackmailers â and he was just supposed to believe she loved him when she told him that night???? I don't care what her mother in law did, that does not justify FLs lies and scheme. FL is not better than the ML.
Episodes 24 and 25 were complete filler. And what was that ending in 25? Did she really do that?? The person who helped her was her husband, not her wannabe lover. Iâm so disappointed. I just donât understand her. Why is it taking her so long to forgive him? Honestly, I donât even see what there is to forgive. They both lied, and I can kind of understand why he didnât believe her that night she confessedâhe thought it was just another one of her scheme. And let's not forget about her sister who didn't even bother to tell Yi Ming her ex is working there. If it were the other way around I can't even imagine.
It's a Cdrama, so the FL is always right and has her reasons for doing wrong. But the MLs are always evil, and…
Youâre absolutely right. Lately, most C-dramas and K-dramas follow this same pattern â the FL is completely focused on her career, while the ML ends up feeling secondary. I always skip the career-related scenes because I don't care about FL's career. That'not why I watch romance shows. What I really want to see is the couple â their relationship, love, and mutual support.
In Loveâs Ambition, the writers repeat this formula again. The FL is all about her career (which isnât even that âindependent,â since she received advice and financial help from Jiang Liang â who clearly wants to sleep with her. She is aware of this but because sheâs the FL, itâs portrayed as perfectly fine for her to accept his help.) Meanwhile it takes her forever to forgive the ML. Frankly as both are liars I don't see what is there to forgive. Maybe his âbig mistakeâ was not believing her confession that night just because she said soâ but honestly, considering how manipulative she had been, itâs understandable that he couldnât trust her in that moment.
The show was an absolute mess. I enjoyed the presence of the ML and FL, but thatâs pretty much all. The script had potential, but the decision to go with a parody style turned it into chaos. I ended up skipping over half of it, and the ending still felt like it took forever to arrive.
Thanks for this info. I was so excited to watch this show and now I'm glad I waited for the end before starting. I guess I will have to skip it. Don't like open endingsđ˘.
lmao 3 episodes on a cooking competition nobody cared about, to move the plot forward on the 11th episode and…
That cooking competition was pointlessâI ended up skipping most of it. Episodes 6 through the middle of 9 felt like pure filler basically nothing happening for nearly half the show
Ep. 7 and 8 were a bit of a letdown đ˘. I ended up skipping most of them. Ep 1 and 2 were amazing, 3 and 4 were ok, but after that, the disappointment set in. Ep 8 is the definition of filler and dragging things out. Too many episodes were wasted on that competition.
After finishing the finale, I can easily say this is now my favorite historical C-drama. Everything was so satisfyingâthe chemistry/love between the leads was off the charts.𼰠Interesting plot, beautiful soundtrack, good action, some mystery. đ
EP 1-3 were so good, ep. 4 was amazing and peak, but things started to decline after that. Men bad, women good no matter what. Too much feminism is going to destroy kdramas. đ
