Like I'm pretty confident that Ji Ling is his actual name but since they called the sweet, innocent persona JL, calling him JL now seems kinda off 😭 But he is becoming more and more JL every episode though😂

I don't want that... Li Jie or the butterfly demon Yuan Wuhuo, either of them being a puppet or lacking substance (like if YWH only had Li Jie's face with no connection whatsoever) would be very anticlimactic.

I'd assume he didn't unless he kept track of all the things that they did in those 50 years. Just because he CAN see everything doesn't mean he DOES see everything or else he'd lose his mind 😭. My guess is he has a personal filter and only sees things when he's looking out for them or if something happens that would impact the greater world.

Short answer, no. The exact manner of power transfer is not really clarified so I'm not sure how exactly and how much they different but the bond is different. Also the Dragon Deity gave the four demons his power and later received each of their own powers in return so there was an exchange.

Well, I'd assume that demons of the Flood Dragon Clan age like humans. Some demons age quickly; some take years so there's no universal rule for demons aging. As for WSG, it was already made clear that he wasn't from that clan and ages more slowly.
