Its definitely giving higher budget short cdrama vibes but I think its on purpose. In China viewership has declined…
In my opinion, the reason short dramas are rising is because they need less time and even lesser attention span to watch. While many people still appreciate well-written and fleshed out long dramas, most people simply do not have the patience to sit through them and would rather watch fast-paced and dramatic stories.
i've never watched a short drama in my life so i truly don't get what about it is making people think of short…
It's mostly the bold and dramatic storytelling, the fast pacing, scene-jumps and narration. Not to mention, the rebirth and revenge plot is a very common short drama trope so it's understandable that AtC is giving short drama vibes to many people.
Personally, I don't mind and am loving it so far, but the storytelling is understandably not for everyone.
Apparently, some viewers here don't think that if we come across a poster with signals that does point to romance,…
I don't really think the poster gives any romantic tension. She's grabbing his collar/coat not tie, they're looking at the camera not each other and it says "family(?)-like teamwork" in the poster.
But I agree it's possible to misunderstand if that's the first impression but if they know enough about the drama to know about the body swap, it should be a no-brainer that it's not a romance.
loving this so far but the vow to never marry or have children everβ¦ how will the romance work? stillenjoying…
I mean she doesn't really need to marry for the romance to work. Also she vowed to never marry or have children while she still held the title so if she wanted to marry, she could just not be the grand princess.
They still milking on TXW popularity to promote the drama
I get it, I really wish they showed more of him. I'm just saying they probably only wanted to outline the main theme of the drama in the first trailer or maybe keep Yan An's character mysterious or something.
OR maybe they wanted his fans to repeat the trailer multiple times to look for Yan An crumbs π (I know I did).
This drama kind of reminded me of The Double and if you see there, the first teaser mostly only featured the FL too, but the final trailer had more of the ML so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

This is a female centric drama, and the story is told from the FL's pov so the first trailer mostly focused on TXW's characters. The next trailer (if there's one) will probably feature the romance and/or ML's pov.
Not a dream. Whether they were in an alternate timeline or in the same one is up for interpretation, but they…
I don't really remember the costumes and exact scene, but I think isn't as much a coincidence as it was a foreshadowing of the ending for us viewers. Like it's to show that LWY imagined a normal life, they got a normal life at the end but them having the same costumes is not important or relevant to the story.
I love Zhan Zhao so much for giving Bai Yutang that kite π That man is so precious, like what do you mean on top of everything he was going through, he still thought to do these little things like giving BYT that eagle kite and bringing back sweets for Ming Zhu'er ππ
oh it gets so much better in the upcoming episodes. trust me watch it
Indian daily serial style is realπ And I agree they kind of overused some of the sounds and osts despite the sheer amount of osts that VoS had but personally, I got so used to that one particular bgm by the end that I still randomly look it up to listen to it π
You are comparing the principles of an assassin with that of a high-ranking government official. Su Muyu was an…
I get it and it's a fair point, especially if you look at isolated incidents. But no one has really died in his presence (except his friend ig) and the people he could kill were mostly pawns who are easily replaceable. So even if he did kill some people at the ground level, it doesn't mean he'd be able to protect everyone unless the mastermind is taken out which he could only do by gathering evidence and keeping the witnesses alive.
I'm not saying you are wrong or that his is the absolute right way, I'm just trying to explain where he is coming from.
