His movies on TV were also really successful at the BO.

He acted in very good drama and with very good roles. You should look up his work.

My thought exactly! It as if he resents ML for all the opportunities he missed because he used to be poor (like leaving for Seoul with his friends and going to college).

His obsession with FL is unhealthy especially since she never saw him as more than a friend.

And what's up with the BSD, he's acting as if ML got in his way with FL when he's clearly the 3rd wheel. Don't blame your condition on others and you could have dates other people all this time instead of pinning for FL who didn't step foot on the island for 8 years!

It's as if he has an unhealthy imaginary Rivalry with ML in his head.

It's Jeju Island, there might not have as many people as in Seoul or Busan but their enough for him to date someone and it's a touristic area so he could have had plenty of opportunities.

Funny that, she was supposed to work around the clock and not have a life to reach her goals in such a competitive field while he's a public servant with reasonable work hours but she was the one who had the time to have multiple relationships.

Never said a choice was better than another but it's not normal to mourn a relationship for close to 10 years especially when the ex isn't in your vinicity. He should have seen a shrink to talk about his obsession.

At the end of the day, it's all about how the author chose to portray these characters.
