Indeed, that's why WCR was able to pull off the role she had in "Oh My General". That's why she made a mark in "Serenade of Peaceful Joy" and that she was cast in "Joy of Life 2" both those drama being author backed.

Using the irrational hate and slander she received by the the cnetz which was downright bullying isn't a good look.

Funny for all that but despite all the criticism she she suffered from the cnetz, not once was it brought up she was a bad actor because even they know she's competent and multitalented (acting, dancing, singing, music instruments, sports...)

I only shared facts about the fans of the books wanting WCR×ZLH in this drama adaptation.

Wang Chu Ran and Zhang Ling He were first attached to the project because the fans of the book wanted them as the leads.

Not yet but her name is back up as a top contender for the role. ML is still SWL though. I would prefer WCR to be cast alongside ZLH.

According to melons, it's back to WCR as the FL. now I'm hoping they change the ML back to ZLH. I REALLY want to see Wang Chu Ran and Zhang Ling He in this.

Also FL is supposed to be 27 but don't look like a girl in her 20's they should have had her be in her 30's imo.

Names like Arthur Chen, Zhang Ling He, Wang Chu Ran and Zhou Ye circled around for this drama and they go for this cast ? I'm not as excited by this drama anymore. Dropping it from my watchlist.

I would actually prefer Zhang Ling He as he's hot commodity right now, seems to be talented and has great visuals.

Fans wanted WCR and ZLH for this one and even made fan videos about their pairing. I can't unsee it since then. So I'm hoping this pairing does happen soon 🙏

Wang Chu Ran was seen having dinner with production team. I feel she'd be a good fit for this role.
