There's no English subs for the movie right now. If some fansubber decides to translate it, it's going to take them some time, because they will have to do everything from scratch.
If you can read Japanese (and I mean read - you won't be able to copy the text into a machine translator), then, as far as I know, digital versions of books 3 and 4 can only be bought on Japanese sites like Cmoa, Renta or Japanese Amazon, but it might still be possible to find books 1 and 2 "elsewhere". Message me if you need some help.
Naoki has been my fav here ever since I saw how domestic and scupulous he actually is, and after the latest episode I like him even more. Really hope they'll give his arc a satisfying conclusion.
it's funny how you constantly keep coming back and hate commenting every few days.. it's like you can't help watching…
Funny thing is, I decided to look up the actual ratings, and... the dorama seems to be doing pretty well so far: https://saru.co.jp/tvmaga/drama_shityouritsu2020sp/ - scroll down to the table with the green column. Manatsu no Cinderella is the third from the top, and its ratings match the ones from Nikkansports website, so it looks legit. The first episode was the 5th highest out of these 12 titles, and so is the third, though it'll probably be 6th once 3 currently missing ratings are listed. Anyway, it's hardly the "ratings lowest made records", whatever that means.
As expected this week ratings are even more bad. someone idiotically compared a broadcaster with a web platform…
How about answering me in person instead of being rude in another comment? And mind sharing your sources and and providing any proof of your claims? I guess not because they probably don't exist.
ratings aren't good - more like at the tip being called rating. Audience reactions aren't much +ve either - this…
What ratings and reactions are you talking about? It was number 1 on TVer. In fact, it's still in the top-5 there, even though the episode has aired 4 days ago.
I didn't expect anything from this drama when it started and, like probably many others, began watching it just because I wanted to see more of Yagi Yusei after Utsukushii Kare 2. I didn't expect anything, but it surprised me in the best way possible all the way through.
What shocked me more was that he cooked the meat with some green vegetable (leek?) then POURED THE BROTH AWAY…
Oh, it's odd alright. It's weird how it feels like nothing has happened, but when you think about it, there was actually a lot going on. I think I ended up liking their behind-the-scenes more than the actual show. The two directors were such sweethearts, and cast seemed to be having a blast in offshot photos and videos. The food was nice, though. Never expected to see something like imam bayildi in a Japanese dorama.
There might be some truth to that adding salt to shirataki tip, but you've got to use something else to give them an actual flavor, I think. Though I've never tried shirataki myself so take it with a grain of salt, pun intended :) Where I live, a small pack costs, like, 2-3 times as much as a regular package of pasta or noodles.
As an aside, I found it so much easier to control my waistline when I switched from frequent eating out or snacking at home to mainly cooking for myself with occasional eating out. Probably because of an ungodly amount of butter that cafes and take-outs tend to add to their food. :)
Feels like 9 is the final ep. Is there still a 10?
No, ep.9 is the final one per the official Twitter. But since it's an hour-long one, it's feels like they've just combined 9 and 10 in a single episode.
Does anyone know where can I buy the Drama CD Audio for Eternal?
Drama CDs are only made for original novels. Season 2 and Eternal are mostly based on the second novel "Nikurashii Kare" and you can buy physical discs from CDJapan or look through the links on the official site http://ginger-records.jp/heis2/ I'm not sure if they sell digital versions at all.

Yeah, you've gotta be more careful when your main target audience can likely spot these things. I wonder if the source manga is also iffy on the cooking particulars or maybe it's just the adaptation.

For the sake of my sanity I decided to think that he only needed to bring the meat to boil and he discarded the first broth the way you sometimes do to make the second one more translucent. Though he probably didn't boil the second one long enough for it, and this doesn't excuse the whole ineffective way of preparing ingredients. Like, he could've started with the meat and then peel and chop everything else while waiting for the broth to boil, but no - he started with peeling potatoes...
Another funny thing is how in the latest episode he actually asks to extend the time because that week's dish takes longer to cook. But he makes braised fish fillet which really doesn't look like it needs to be cooked for more than 10-15 minutes or so. Though admittedly, I rarely cook fish so I'm not an expert. But even the veggies that he put into the pan along with the fillet didn't look like they've been simmered for long.
Oh it only has 4 episode?? I was waiting for more episodes it ended so abruptly
The story continues in the movie, it's just that Japanese fans had to wait just a couple of weeks for it, while it probably won't be available for most of international fans until late autumn or something.
