IRK, being the suspicious and "intelligent" type of person they both are, it's pretty dumb they haven't figured…
Well actually all of us have to be wondering about that cos she became so fixated with Lu Yuan for most of story so far that it felt like hating and killing Pengcheng Wang is something she's been taught to recite by rote by her shifu. Also the other thing I wonder about is how come 6th prince doesn't know his own cousin.............but then it doens't pay to overanalyse C-dramas which usually bend reality willy-nilly.
LOL! Remember they haven't met yet as a prince & Shen Lige. I checked out some trailers on youtube damn & damn!
Aiyah, can lah, even if we all know it's a plot device that's stretched. She herself is burdened with so many secrets and lies and she's got this big mission to accomplish where she might die or at the very least have to be a fugitive, plus we've all noted that she's refreshingly different.....besides cdramas always ask us to believe 6 impossible things before breakfast, for eg like how no one can recognise a woman disguised as a man for 3/4 of the drama etc etc

Well the prince was on the verge of telling her his identity a couple of times, but she shuts him up. And of course she confesses everything to him when he's passed out drunk. So that's probably the writer's sop to the audience, knowing that our patience is stretched beyond the max with the whole hide-and-seek thing. But it's ok, they're very sweet together afterwards and go off on battles together, of course after going through some more near-death experiences etc..........
Don’t think she will be, looking at the previews - so far she remains devoted to the Prince. Think Consort Sun…
We've seen other consorts who just get ignored by their prince - remember Lost Love in Times and the sidelined and finally discarded consort of Joe Xu's 7th Prince and he was so reasonable and civilized in all other respects? What to do when women are forced into these horrible harem systems? So many of them in real life must have suffered similar fates with no escape.

After the upcoming stabbing as per the trailers etc, the action moves away from the court to the battlefield - probably fighting the Northern Wei army, I think - (I watched the Mandarin previews so just guessing). So from domestic we probably move over to foreign threats for quite a few episodes................
I've finally signed up with iQiyi because Viki is too slow...Just finished watching the last two episodes.
The team at Viki is actually subbing this drama quite fast - they seem to be able to post within the next 1 - 2 days after the drama is aired, and that's considered pretty fast by Viki standards. Unless you bingewatch up to the latest episodes in a couple of days, you should be ok. Besides there're only 6 new episodes per week...........if you wait to watch over weekends you should always have some new episodes.
Someone please tell me the Princess Consort will not become the biggest villain. Pretty please!
Don’t think she will be, looking at the previews - so far she remains devoted to the Prince. Think Consort Sun will continue to plot with her nephew........

You can get the other episodes by doing this - clear your browser cache. Using VPN, access iQIYI and search for Song of Glory and that’s when all the episodes will come up - copy the links to the episodes you want. If your VIP account is registered in USA or other blocked countries once you log in you won’t be able to see the episodes but can still play the links. All the older episodes are already subbed on Viki.
The last few episodes are still good even without any OTP time. A poison plot that is foiled and then counterfoiled - evil sister is really quite good at counterplots - explains why she manages to hang around for so long ...........even the Xia Nu is stymied as she realises how her best-laid plan to expose evil sis goes awry. Ah well, evil sister still has a key role to play in making life difficult for our heroine judging from the previews on tencent.
how is this drama related to princess weiyoung? Is it year's after or is the king main couples son from princess…
As noted in other comments, the same production team produced both dramas. (With the caveat that these are fictionalized accounts of historical events/characters), the Liu Song dynasty and the Northern Wei dynasty were rivals/enemies historically and somewhat contemporaneous (Liu Song dynasty didn't last very long), and I suspect we are going to see battles between them further in the story. One was a Southern dynasty and the other, Northern, and founded by the Tuoba clan (steppe/nomadic peoples), and therefore I don't think there were family connections. Liu Yikang/Prince Pengcheng was an actual historical figure; looks like he lived and died around the same time as the characters in Princess Weiyoung (died just before the reign of Tuoba Jun in Princess Weiyoung). So I think as the events in Song of Glory are happening at around the same time as the events in Princess Weiyoung and as they were neighbouring rival dynasties and therefore affected each other's foreign policies, you could see this as a spin-off/same universe story. Of course we will have to see how that part of the story develops and whether there are recognizable cross over characters from Princess Weiyoung for eg.
There're copyright/licensing issues for some regions - currently looks like the Americas are affected. In order to play these you will have to use a VPN and set the server location to somewhere like Singapore or India. You also need to have a VIP account on iQiyi as the latest episodes are for VIP early access. Alternatively you can watch on viki.com but their subtitling takes some time.
Hope everything continues to be good. So far, makes up for some recent disappointments like ATWIL - the fight scenes there dwindled after the first few episodes, which started out so nicely with very balletic Leo Luo and his fan - understandably so due to his knee injury, but still, what a missed opportunity.

I use ExpressVPN - it's quite pricey but it's the best at unlocking streaming services everywhere
