This is not drama related. But can somebody pls enlighten me, is Chinese language this hard,?https://fb.watch/l2d1U92uCR/?mibextid=Nif5oz
It's not hard as such, just have to get used to a tonal approach to language. My mum did tell me a funny story once of her colleague asking the restaurant in Cantonese to add more ingredients to the noodles but because his tone was slightly off he ended up asking them to add more pee instead ππ
They're not called sects for nothing. I mean I know the word as used in cdrama (or at least cdrama translation)…
IKR? I purposely did not watch any trailers and waited patiently till Monday so I could see both the "death" and the "rebirth" or the "egg hatching" π€£π€£π€£. Even though it's kinda ridiculous, it actually works out well. I really think that the drama successfully got back on track and regained its original tone, with everyone communicating again. So refreshing.
Is she an ex girlfriend of ML? I haven't watch the series yet. Just saw some clips and I'm curious to know.
Yes, he really did. He was cultivating in a valley for 1000 years so she was his first love. He had zero experience with mortals and being a noob/doofus fell for her damsel in distress act (explained in the novel, the drama doesn't really give a lot of background on how they met). That's why he has PTSD at the beginning of the drama.

Xu Kai's dramas.......should be worth checking out.
Kunning Palace has gone completely dark it seems. Censorship is always going to hobble China's entertainment industry. Look at kdrama - they've conquered the world thanks to deliberate government support. China really needs to learn to chill and build its soft power.

ahhh she's finally ded.............i just hate to see powerful female characters turned into complete dummies cos of their propensity for fatal attraction. There are so many more fish out there, and/or just get on with your life and be free and filthy rich lah. All this angst over one man tsk tsk tsk.

Well yes she's an ex but she was just getting close to him to get his body parts. She has a fatal attraction thing for another guy, and this drives her to do loony, nasty things.
What a wasted life SY has led all because she canβt let go. Seriously woman, there are way more fish out there, some of them could even turn out to be lucky koisβ¦β¦.
Could someone explain to me about this Suying and Lu Mu Sheng thing? What happened that made him lose his memory?…
In the novel he died and was reincarnated. In the drama, it seems he was lost and was rescued by the fox princess and they spent the last 20 years as husband and wife. He had apparently lost his memories then. SY did make him recover his memory but despite that he was truly in love with the princess and no longer in love with SY, so he did not tell her he remembered. She finally realised this when she saw his memories at the end.
Someone please tell SY that she's just spent 20 odd years being the Dark Lord's pawn. She's already lost her sister to FY and still can't see the real enemy.
Tian Yao is starting to remember ππ»ππ»ππ»πππ
Ah ha but also remembers now all the times he tried to take the scale back. That time after she got drunk with him was a dark surprise but also somehow quite realistic for that point in time.
Whoops - TY remembering how he tried to take back the heart scale after YH's drunken promise to help him and only going along with her cos he doesn't have the ability to take it back yet...........dude!
