JOL still better according to lots of ppl here lmao
Well they're both by the same scriptwriter and I like them both. I think this ending is better because with such an ending one can watch Season 1 and feel a sense of completion/closure up to this point. Certainly it lessens the pain of having to wait for Season 2, whereas for JOL 2, we really needed to see it as soon as JOL 1 was over or at least pretty soon since it leaves us with so many questions. Oh well, will just have to rewatch JOL 1 before JOL 2 starts.
What a great finale - at least if we're going to have to wait for who knows how long for Season 2, Season 1 ended on a truly satisfying note with everyone showing up and playing a role. Excellent! Those dramas which leave us with horrible cliffhangers should learn from this - this is how you wrap up a Season 1 without leaving your audience gnashing their teeth and wailing in frustration. Bravo!
I wouldn’t say this is a light drama. This is a serious political drama with a bunch of hillarious scenes. And…
Ummm Luoyang is a thriller/suspense drama - every episode ends on a suspenseful note. Whereas Sword Snow Stride is almost (currently) journal-like. Dark themes are explored but the whole thing is not done super heavy-handedly. Noice.
Maybe because they have 2 seasons that’s why they made a slower pace. eventhough this is slow pace, the storyline…
I think the pacing is fine since the characters and their interactions currently keep it interesting. Moreover, am liking this drama cos it doesn't take itself too seriously.
I think it is hilarious and different in the best way from all the other run of the mill dramas. It is witty and…
Agree, so far it’s hugely enjoyable and the characters are really not behaving like the usual stereotypes. I also like the fight scenes - not sure why there’s so much bitching about them. After the angst of Pearl Eclipse and even the seriousness of Luoyang, this is a nice relief.
Xu Kai Cheng performance as the King is very impressive. I think I am seeing a side of him I have never seen in…
Yes, it's a pleasant surprise to see his acting chops in this - so far this year he's been in quite a few dramas but always rather so-so. Obviously another actor who just needs the right script and director to shine.
Ikr!! I came here to get the overall vibe of the drama because I plan to watch it this weekend...and I was shocked…
It's just misogynist really - as if women don't get enough flak without fossilized people making comments like that in this day and age. Olivia Newton John was nearly 30 when she starred as a teenager in Grease. And in general, Asian faces tend to remain younger looking than Caucasian faces - something we could be celebrating instead of being subjected to BS comments like these over and over again.
If there's anyone currently being irked by a persistent hater, just block them and leave them alone. This drama…
Great advice! Just cleared my feed of all that BS. Funnily enough those people are just shooting themselves in the foot/mouth since they just increase the number of comments exponentially.
