I haven't noticed any problems...clearing your browser cache often helps. Using extensions or ad blockers can also slow things down.. you may try incognito mode to test that.
Reuters and Ji Can were beautiful...the true art I got to keep thanks to dps with great cameras and a good eye for positioning...gjm once again cut so much and he should have tone downed on some CGI effect..

Jin Fan? Where in VoS? I honestly don’t remember seeing him on the set..🤯but why would cut his time..tho it's a stupid question, He cut hours and hours of filmed fighting scenes, Yanan pool scenes, bloody tears scenes, etc. So much material ended up in the junk folder...😭 he should be banned from entering the edit room..
His 5 minutes on screen cast so much light that it temporarily fries their synapses... making them lose all sense of time. 😂🤣 Time stretches then while they're still hypnotized by his light, unable to take their eyes from him and his headband. So this is just the aftermath symptom.....where he was there for 5 minutes...they swear they saw 50😂 this disorder started with MJTY..lol..

It doesn’t really need much explanation. Maybe I missed it...but I haven’t seen much talk about it as a major issue. Most ppl know the basics of the novel and donghua...it’s a huge IP, even outside China for people watching their dounghas.. Some will have legit questions about the romance...get the answer and move on. Others will troll just to provoke, and those are easy enough to spot. Once they’re clearly trolling.. ignoring them is best...they feed on replies and emotions...as long as it isn't a major thing the comments here and there..it shouldn't be the issue.. I'm here cause GJM is directing, and I follow his work. I know Aimi, but I don't know him or his work. People like me coming cause of gjm know what to expect from him, but here things will be different cause he's not the scriptwriter. So, the way the story is presented, the arcs, the characters, and their lines are all unknown factors to me. If this were gjm’s story, it would be easier to predict.
And when it comes to the script and the story arcs, I see a huge risk, not so much related to romance/no romance lovers, but to changes that will be made..,they are inevitable with a huge IP to condense the arcs, but if they get to be huge and too many, and worse ....poorly done, there is this third huge fandom of the OG. I met them last year when gjm nd the adaptation were announced. They are, imo...passionate and loud😁 and a force not to be underestimated cause they could easily tank the ratings protesting against the changes. So far, I see the usual concerns, nothing alarming imo, so casting of the mains seems to go okay.

And we never left anyone from the set out...they were all under our wild funny fire, nd collectively drooling over them all...😭🤣 They need one specific grandma to shake things up over there..🥀 that period is to be archived nd it's hard to see it can be repeated in the near future...
Yeah, I I like his work too, though I do think gjm mostly exhausted the character arcs that Rui could play and to feel fresh and to be non repetitive. That’s one thing I’ll give GJM credit for...he gave him, what..like up to 10 diff character types..all distinct.
Some actors go from drama to drama playing basically the same archetype, just with different costumes and makeup. So that’s why I don’t think Rui would benefit much from doing gjm dramas as a main lead anymore. Maybe the occasional guest role, tho..
Plus cause of the same old stories..tho i truly believe they’ll die down within a year or two.. max. With his new dramas and projects, there won’t be much room or time to recycle the same narratives for n times, esp when they are already so unoriginal. Until then, we just need to be patient..
And a stopwatch synchronized with an atomic clock to precisely measure every millisecond of his screen time,....plus a power scaling chart nd instruments to make sure his character doesn’t go one atom of power above the first billers’ power level...😂
I’m drumming for him to be a guest demon in BYP. I still can’t forget his Lilun appearance in FoF...the black outfit, no sleeves. 😭 And since my papa gave us literally 1 second of that Rui version in the aired ep, I’ve felt robbed ever since. I need compensation. 😂 Give us another equally stunning demon but wilder than the final version in FoF. A guest role is max 2 episodes,. I'm only sad he wouldn't be shooting with Yanan who'll join sooner...i can't ever say no to this duo ...
Deng Wei seems like he has a good control over his character, based on the leaks I’ve seen, and confident, grounded actors who trust their own skills are never afraid of another strong actor. It should make their job even easier. I’m always hyped to see Rui with really good actors...their interactions and chemistry can only bring out the best in them..
Rui might get mentioned in some comments... but I doubt anyone would complain about a limited 1 or 2 episode role. Even some of the old acc wouldn't be say something without risking looking insecure or irrational..tho i understand the concerns...once burned by hot water, one fears even cold water..
So if Rui gets that slot in December, I’ll be seated. Besides, this could probably become a pattern of him showing up in GJM’s works as a guest, just like the Wang Duo has, nd always left an impression even with limited time nd role..esp doing a good job with Rui..

Knowing very basics about the OG work is engh to make it clear how romance here is gonna be so subtle and slow... taking tiny steps over many arcs. Even getting a confession would be hard to do without triggering the og fandom, who is now waiting for the final arc, with work in progress. Btw, I've seen some comm where the og fans already spiraled into their own gloom and doom predictions about how that love might end. I don't know what actually triggered it....but some have fallen into despair that it might not end well.. Another reason I’m not buying the age gap talk at this phase...this is GJM. 😂 I just can't picture him switching into some alternate ego mode and going full passionate...wild romance. It's just not his style. VoS was about love and yet had those rare kisses hidden under dim lighting and 10 heavy filter layers, half visible....lol. He’s not the scriptwriter here, but I doubt they’d risk the og fandom’s uproar by drastically changing the romance settings. Also he worked with Aimi when she was even younger.. and her “love arcs” with Zhuo Ye in MJTY and FoF were so platonic and innocently sweet, yet the emotions came through. Loved both arcs, so I trust gjm can shift this from pure platonic to a subtle romantic undertone and, with their acting, create the same....their relationship and emotions to be felt despite subtleties...
