In Episode 11, i was touched by MZH defending the ladies from brothel when the empress dowager label them as not virtuous when in actual fact most of the girls were unwillingly sold to brother, MZH understood the pain of the prostitute and does not discriminate them. So courageous of her !

In NLB i care more about the sisterhood rather than the main couple , the are more colourful supporting character. here i care a lot more about the main couple & also the FL. NLB the FL felt like she had it easier coz though she is poor she has love n support from her family whereby MZH didnt have any of it hence MZH still need to do some scheming to survive

The dashing look is a plus bonus 😄

Always love a strong FL like MZH and rare to find a gem of a ML like Lord Ding who is willing to sacrifice for his lady

Tencent is quite biased with their promotions, always promote shows with younger cast but with mature cast it's always minimal marketing. The fact this show still gets the traction and increasing fandom is amazing too.

There isn't a lot of promotions for this drama i came across this coincidentally n based on MDL fand comments i gave it a shot n really liking it thus far

ML original voice is quite good not sure eithet why they dubbed it. FSF was my crush n he still maintained his charming looks after all these years

Mi mo didn't want her child to experience the same chilhood as hers, she wanted her child to grow up happily. I love the friendship bond between Mi-mo n Chun Ae both deeply understood each other wounds and pain. Even though it was a short segment but it was memorable

This drama definitely deserves 8 and above ratings. A unique one of a kind thriller. It's not just about society crazy beauty standards that makes one feel insecure, at the core of it is the message of toxic parenting impact on a child mental well-being
