🥴🥴🥴 I don’t like a drama, which has little to do with the actors, but with the script, and it makes me an anti? Do you hear yourself? There’s not one single actor or actress whose dramas I’ll watch because of the actor/actress. The plot is good, I’ll watch. The plot is naff, I’ll drop it. End of. I’m an adult, not a primary school kid.
I’ve watched plenty of dramas with Shen Yue and Lin Yi… are you okay? If I don’t like a drama I’ll say so. I don’t care who the actors are as long as the drama is enjoyable. You realise that this is making you look paranoid?
I barely made it through ep 1, in which the FL shows complete lack of professionalism by leaving her interview half way through for personal reasons and expects a very busy person to wait for her.
Then ep 2 starts with an even more annoying scene, she dares to complain that the guy didn’t let her finish the interview and straight up lied about the circumstances.
Nobody owes you time, when you yourself don’t respect theirs. Smh. I’m not even sure I want to continue.
I think what you wrote is pretty obvious. However, I, as anybody else, am allowed to be unhappy that some of my favourite novel bits didn’t get included, right?
I feel robbed of their wedding night! Mu Sheng went all “You can’t ever regret this. From now on you’re forever mine”. And their kisses were great. At the end, as they were both heavily injured, he even asked her to meet him by the River of Forgetfulness so they could cross it together and be together in the next life. She agreed of course 🥲
Haven’t watched many episodes, but the FL’s acting really stands out. Her and the ML have got great chemistry. On a plot level, their actual relationship dynamics are a bit infantile, but hopefully that’ll get better.
The novel has plenty of hot scenes, Mu Sheng’s favourite thing is to ravish Miao Miao whenever the opportunity…
It’s funny that they included Mu Yao and Fu Yi’s wedding in the drama, when their wedding happened later than MiaoSheng’s. Most importantly YaoYi had way less kissing, I’d almost call them prudish romance-wise in their behaviour.
Having read the novel, I’m both happy and unhappy with the drama. Some things I preferred in the novel (Miao Miao & Mu Sheng got married inside the system), other things I felt made more sense in the drama (Mu Sheng already existing in the real world, whereas in the novel he goes to her world but has to live in obscurity, kind of). This is a confusing feeling…
Having lived through communism, and had friends, relatives, and neighbours get deported and/or killed by USSR I simply cannot stomach this drama. A pity. I like both ZLS & HMH.
Yan Zi Jing said something that truly resonated with me: many people are miserable, yet they won’t lift even one finger to change their situation.
I’ve personally been through poverty and extreme loneliness, yet through hard work, I’ve been able to completely change my life and that of my family. I think there’s always a way, but one must have the will.
It’s obvious that she believes she’s been treated unequally to her brothers and that’s her heart’s thorn, but the way she goes about it is completely wrong.
