Nothing again. I mean I started Arigatou Papa Good Life But I don;t have the time or energy to watch it for the moment. Things will slow down in December so that's when I'm planning to return.

Unlike, say The African Queen where Humprey and Katherine Hepburn were just great together! And ohh Hepburn and Cary Grant in Bringing up Baby, although to be honest I don't like Cary Grant as much as James Stewart or David Niven. I don't like Gene Kelly as much as Fred Astaire. Fred Astaire is the man of my dreams!! He had the grace and the charm most actors today just lack. And korean ones in partocular. Koreans pay too much attention to the glmaour and it ticks me of. But there have been a few romcoms from Korea and Japan that i really liked, I consider myself a romcomer! But I guess I'm picky with romcoms.

I gave up on having a life as soon as I entered the world of cinema overall. It made me want to have a cinema-related jiob but that's not going to happen. I do love cien,ma and I love exploring. Discovering ideas and gems and stories. But I do like romances and romcoms. I like most American ones- like Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfuss or Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn. Heck Billy Wilder's Apartment had a nice pairing- Jack Lemmon;s character was sooo endearing! Thrn I also liked Never Been Kissed, if only because Drew Barrymore was such a delicate flower there and ohhh Shop around the corner, It;s a wonderful life or You;ve got mail too. I love romcoms overall, just not Korean ones as korean idols most of the time are NOT good enough for romantic roles I want and most korean romantic script are somehow too shmaltzy and imbalanced. Not sure why. It;s just that it seems most Korean romcoms don't have what I want...

Oh, Ariel Lin you mean? She's a good actress, I like her myself. I dared not watch the older adaptations. somehow, I am put off by cinematic technoques- those 2004 dramas are difficult to watch because visually they have aged tremendously. It's very shallow but I seem to find myself put off a little by artificial-looking special effects, whic are often there in those pld productions. What annoys me the most are backgrounds which so clearly aren't natural. Not sure if you know what I mean. Old productions for regular dramas are usually fne but in wuxia or fantasy that may become a problem.

Well I loved it, it's my kind of drama :-) I guess I won;t be making any recommendations then, it seems our tastes differ 180 degrees. I like itazura in anime version, I disliked the current live action the actors are way too lifeless for me. Anime for this story is so much better and anime itaxura na kiss is very endearing. I may check out marry him if you dare one of these days, I heard it's refreshing.

Haha. I see. Well it;s good in a way, keep going forward for now and carve out your own fate ;-) I'm tired, exhausted and anxious. I want out of this university, it;s been nothing but a misunderstanding for me from the start. Otherwise too busy..I need a hloliday. Away from my current place. Not likely to go back for Christmas though.

Lunar story was quite involving. I have not attempted ternal Blue yet, I was put off by graphics to be honest. The psp version of Silver Star was all pretty with pretty music and sprites. The psx version of Eternal Blue looked like a typical SNES rpg. I'm sure I will like the story just as much though, it's just that I haven;t gotten round to playing it just yet. Maybe one day. That and I don;t really like sequeles. In the nearest future I"m planning to play Second Star Evolution, I am hyped for 80 endings. I am insanely busy these days, though, not much tome for so much as scratching my head..

I'm glad to hear you are fine, it seems Bokami and Lunar are as well, so I"m relieved. I do hate things like that, It always takes too much toll in innocent lives.

Hi there! Well slump is one thing but I am consistently overworked and can't find the time for dramas. Condor Heroes 08 was my first chinese drama. I rewatched it later and I still liked it. not sure why. I like the trials of the main character and he's such an underdog. And there were moments where he had to take various tests. I just love when underdog surprises everyone so I loved him. It;s difficult to judge the series on its merits because I had no objectivity. To do it objectively, I would have to read the novels and then the other series. I do know that some fans of the novels were disappointed in 08 version calling it a purely idol drama. Well, I see nothing wrong with that if it can introduce the novels to wider audience. Have you read the novels? And really another adaptations? Wow. that sounds interesting.

I;ve seen Memories of Murder- it was a good movie but not as good as Old Boy. Haven't seen the other three yet. I loved the ending in MoM though. Have you seen it already?

Lunar, better question is: are YOU okay? I heard a typhoon hit central Philippines!!! I haven;t played the other opne but I loved Lunar Silver Star Harmony for Psp. The characters were fun, I have a soft sdport for Kyle and Jessica.
