Haha! I'm happy to hear than then. Anime like that goes by very fast. There is also Kachou wa Maid-sama which is banter-based.

Well I hope Bride works for you in the end. I had a look at it but it didn't captivate me so I let it be. The story sounded creative but I have a feeling it wasn't executed to its fullest potential.

King's Daughter features a strong main female character and lovely side characters. But also an antagonist that, while having human motivations, makes you want to tear her apart.

Well then if you want something light and are not averse to romcoms, then maybe Lovely Complex? It's rather funny. I had tons of laughs with it, much to my surprise. It;s a shoujo romcom about two high schoo, students who start out as friends...plus the boy is shorter than the girl.Itazura na kiss in anime version is lovely too, if you like this sort of story. There is also Nodame cantabile anime which shouldn't be too heavy.

I am in the mood for a saeguk at the moment and the episodes are shorter than for most. I kinda like characters though it is more like a TV novella than a drama. But the characters are what make it so much fun.

How true! I definitely subscribe to that myself. There are so many things I wish I'd done as a teenager :) But then I tend to think that everyone has their own pace of development anyway. We can be 30 and still be teenagers at heart seeking to grow up. I know I feel that way many times.

Well, me too. But internet does leave a certain margin of error, that is you never know whether the other person is true to his/her self or not. You don;t see their face, their gestures and for all you kow they could be a 40 yearld old man rather than a 13 year old. It's different a bit with community settings like MDL. I too have met some like-minded people whom I've come to call friends- but it's only on MDL. Nowhere else. I gess MDL allows us to open up becquse of the shared interest.

I've been trying to write up my thesis bit I'm having a hard time focusiong. I've got a deadline coming up but I still need to expand it. I just want to be done with it at this point. So tired of the endless writing and thinking lol.

lol stupid flying. I know it;s difficult to get used to the flying sometimes bit it is part of the "marial artsd". At least the dramas with flying tend to have a story, unlike the dramas like Jade Palace where everything is a terrible mess, characters give birth in a minute and injured peopl recover in just a second. But I don;t know any good chinese historical. Istopped trusting chinese series but there is a forum thread on chinese historical dramas, try looking at those lists?

lol I saw the comments on the feeds and I answered them. i disagree that LSJ is bad in the drama, people don't seem to get the character at all. As I say, I like the subtle chemostry he has with Cha Hae Won so ', really glad for the sudden development. Besides, it;s still early on in the story to be making any definite comments. It's more like I jumped to episode 18 lol But I did see something or other from the previous episodes. Thig is nothing much happened in 8 episodes really. Hae Won should stop being silly.

I felt like beating the crap out of Ayaka. I can tolerate rebellion up to a point. She was uncontrollable znd didn't stop to think bout it at all. i just can't handle that, it was too much. Isn't this the kind f drama that can be only made in Japan? Lots of things to think about and still a lot of mystery. It was pretty unique.

well maybe i'll give it a try one day. some other friends on MDL also enjoyed it so when I'm in the mood for something different, I just may go for it just to see what's all the fuss is about. What else are you watching?

they usually do it but it;s not necessarily bad. Films are texts unto themselves. I;ll keep an open mind when I do watch it. I was really happy to hear there was a film adaptation in the works. There was one exception. Remains of the Day film version was faithful to the book to a large degree. Also Ishiguro's/
