Well, to be honest now is not a good time for much of anything. My grandma died on Thursday, I remain a bit depressed that I"m not even there. The funeral was arranged on short notice due to heat, but my dad, her son told me he knows I can;t come and my grandma wouldn;t mind either. So there. I', not even going to be at my gradnma;s funeral.Last time I saw her she didn't recognize me. I'll visit her when I get back home but this year I"m not getting much of holidays. I have too much to do for the next academic year. Oh I'll need to get back to the blog later today. Thanks. I was going to start writing about anime a little. I tried checking out the japanese dram kamo goes to kyoto but it was unineterestng, in fact quite bad. I see. Cheating with KNG- well that better be for good reason. WEll then I"m in no hurry to watch shark. What about queen;s classroom? <br />

Well have fun :) I am not unfrtounately I am desperately writing things bit I haven;t started my working day just yet. I want to finish the series I am watching soon. I heard something about shark not being too good?

hehe. Well you know I do think ultimately variety is important, especially one type of thing starts losing its freshness. The more you watch of something, the more that seems to be the case. Oh! Then enjoy the next 4 day to the fullest!

Welcome to the summer holidays :D

Yeah, I hope I"ll find one that suits my tastes eventually. Tried having a look at Kamo goes to Kyoto but it was a bad idea on the whole. It's rather weak. Well or now I"ll stick to anime for a while longer. I:ll have a go at Gu this week though. Once you watch a number of dramas, however, no matter hiw good the plot may be it just seems they lose their excitement anyway.

hehe will try. But Arang bored me to death, to be honest. I only liked the scenery. My favourite historicals ar e Jejoongwon, Queen SeonDuk, Yi San and Jumong. I prefer the real deal to fusions most of the time but I"ll give Gumiho Man a try, especially since the gumiho is such a popular korean folktale figure and I"ve seen my grilfriend is a gumiho.

well I"m watching anime for now. But I want to check out I hear your voice and Gu Family Book..and maybe mandate of heaven. What's your favourite historical drama?

usually a verity. I like when a drama has it all, so comprehensive stories as much as possible. Has something been really capturing your attention lately?

it;s like me with dramas now. i have absolutely no will for dramas.

what genres do you prefer?

also I tried watching death note live but it was too lame for me I just couldn't relate. it felt artificial. The anime, for me, is far more real. I was disappointed by L but..the ending to the anime was justified. I felt relieved. I missed L, if course. Then I watched monster and really for me, DN is a child's play in comparison. I just can't agree with Yagami;s methods at all. Such an unfeeling, arrogant, reactionary brat. I much more relate to Johann, in fact I may at least pity Johann, while Yagami is totally annoying. And I really felt relieved that he was taught a lesson, he was so blinded. In DN I liked Matsuda though. He expressed the doubts but ultimately did what he had to do. But still not the same level as, e.x Grimmer/Suk or Tenma/ Nina in Monster. I've really been quite taken by monster. :D I hope you have a nice weekend and I hope you don't mind my epistles again :)

In comparison to Monster, death note strikes me as reactionary and primitive on some levels, and to be honest I find monster on the level of a good classical novel, death note seems to be more like a flashy lighter novel, albeit it also raises good points for debate, but it;s just that Light doesn;t quite have the complexity of Johann. Aaaand if you were to ask me about the most terrifyignt antagonist in a drama. I would say probably someone like John Meyer and Mishil from Quee Seond Duk but then I woukd add..but they haven't met Johann. Let me know how you like those animes when you watch them :)

am amazed at the depth and perspective of the writer and I think the anime is simply fabulous. I just love it, I relate to it and am fully involved with it. Oh did I mention other characters like Suk, Grimmer and Runge? I love them too :D Yes, lovely complex is a riot! It had me in stitches all the time. haha. The characters were just so fun. I will watch Kobato after I end with Monster. I will need something lighter afterwards :D I had a look at it and I thought I may like it, though frankly after the realism if monster I will have a hard time readjusting to the typical anime art. I was just telling someone I find Johann throughly beautofully drawna nd Tenma one of the more handsome character. It helps that I tronyl support him in his quest and pray that he doesn't shoot Johann. He mustn't. He should be stronger than that. But I will watch Kobato too :)

on the level of ideas there is just so much more to doscuss. The nature of monster. the nature of fear. nature vs nurture debates. forgetting. belonging. naming. wanting someone. it;s a story aoiut childtren and even historical context is rich! It's also a story about how we relate to others and how we impact others, aside from the fact that it;s a gripping thriller. Farah, there is NO story in animeland as rich as this one, I"m pretty sure no anime will top this one for me in terms of realistic portrayl of complex problems. And it has everything else to in pretty clever doses. Even the connection between Nina and Tenma, albeit not explored, but I feel it's tangible. It;s amazing. Eva, the pathethic character I feel sorry fory never understood our protagonist in the same way, well she used to be very selfish bit I think she will change once she's done feeling sorry for herself. Johann is such a messed up guy, though. He just doesn;t differentiate between good or evil. Ech, I still haven;t understood what makes Nina different from him, why has she turned out so strong. Why has Grimmer turned out okay even though hois experiences are simolar to Johann? I comoletely love those people. So complex and not easy to define. Tenma could have more background. I really wanted to know why his parents are so indifferent to his fate, the only clue about his past is that he actually wanted to be found by the children in hide and seek but they elft him behind. And there is a funny thing. He finally finds what can be his family Dieter and Nina. Along with Recihwine and Rudi. I really loved the episode when Rudi and he cleared up the cheating memories. Ha! Rudi became a really ardent supporter. Ther eis just so much about this story. All I am referring to are characters and yet

Hello farah. I hope you had a nice holiday :) Death note anime is good but it doesn;t compare to the level of Monster. I reached the point where Tenma is taken back to Germany. I can;t even begin to tell you how much I love all the characters in this series. Tenma and Nina in particular. Runge reminded me of Javert, somehow. In this anime I will only hate the ending if anyone of the characters doesn;t have at least a ray of hope on the horizon. Nina and Tenma in particular. Well even Johann. I actually hope no one kills him. He doesn;t deserve to die and it;s not up to Tenma to decide that either. His job is to save the life and TRUST it will turn out all right. I love him though. So I hope things end somehow positively after such a long and traumatic journey. The story is go gripping for me. Farah. I even do MAL blogs about it, for every episode. I really watch it carefully this one.

oh? :D well I haven't seen that many since for the longest time I was addicted to drama, but I do enjoy watching it. I;ve been discovering some very nice series lately so catching up on anime world. What about yourself?

Both as well, but I like to alternate them as they have different flavours :)
