On the contrary, it's a pretty thought provoking series. Give it a go. It's a twisted story with a very twisted main character. I see I didn't realise the writer died. Thank you for the insight. It does leave one to wonder how things would go from there, but I'm perfectly happy with the anime.

hard time? no, why? :) she was surprised that I would say Death Note is tiresome, but I still think Death Note is emotionally draining- well it is for me. I still hate Yagami, but it;s through this reaction to him and through my frsutration that I arrive at some other thoughts. I understand her point of view, though. I"m really glad that there are people who are patient enough to tolerate me bombarding them with impressions. It;s a motor for discussion anyway and I love talking to you guys.

Let me say, to sum up, that I'm simply not crazy about how the creator of the story wanted to arrive at the messages in this anime. The questions are valid, though. I just don't tolerate the stance Light represents, I guess. Don't get me wrong, I still thing death note is a must see at least once, if only in order to have one's own perspective on it. It's very thought provoking, it's just..not easy to watch. And I guess I was really relieved that somewhat taught Yagami a lesson. Though once again, the ending entered a gray area. Did Yagami deserve to die as a serial killer himself??? Can we judge? maybe that's why yagami has caused me such a headache. He's impossible to like and poses both a threat and a problem that cannot be answered.. And thank you for your insights. I'm glad we can exchange opinions.

in this sense I waas really tied of him doing the "justice" because of some corrupted and vision of himself as God. I find his approach harmful. And because of that seeing he do everything just in the name of that, relentlessy, without a hint of consideration for anyone but himself- all he did was because he thought HIMSELF the better person, that's no justice; that's obsession- I got really tired. I was kind of happy when finally someone taught him a lesson.
I felt relieved he died, somehow. The game of cat and mouse throughout was compelling to watch but somehow it lost sense without L- how could he have let Light win? I think that makes L human and perhaps that's why I like him but I was also disappointed a little that he was no longer there.

Hi! I hope everything went well :) Really, that's how the manga ends? In that case I prefer the anime all the more. I didn't really like that. What made the writer go for blindness? Yes, I am still in anime phase, don't feel at all inspired to change that. Just watched Death Note. But that anime tired me, really. Light is really difficult to tolerate. I understand the points of the anime but really he was just really tiresome with his obsession and complete lack of human emotions.

He's the most normal out of the bunch and I like how he's upset in the final episode shouting that Light drove his own father to his death- that;s what I would say too and that's why I really felt tired watching him trying to be a freaking God, deciding who to kill. Such stances in general make me protest strongly because no individual should ever be above others and I don't think individuals have the right to decide who to kill, especially when they do so because of a sense of their own superiority. It is problematic, of course, passing judgements in general. That's what the anime makes a point of. But then the entire cult of Kira that developed- that's just dangerous. And he somewhat relishing it without so much a hint of relatsble feelings more typical for a person- he doesn't have that at all.

Cheering is not the point. I understand what you;re saying and I can see it. I do. But it's just probably not for me. I got tired watching Light outwitiing everyone and using even people that were close to him. The kind of approach to injustice through corrupted sense of justice and a God complex (I will kille veryone, I can judge who is evil because I am a god- really now? Light was annoying) is highly problematic and dubious. He's worse than a criminal, especially when he has absolutely no feelings and cannot respect the feelings of others, bt just uses them. The only episodes I was able to watch calmly were when he actually forgot all about death note. I felt relieved seeing his ending. The person who expresses me in this anime to some extent is Matsuda.

haha. Ale to Light jest glownym bohaterem. Ostatnie 5 odcinkow warto zobaczyc, chociazby po to zeby zobaczyc final wspolpracy N z Lightem :-) Light sie wykazal sprytem po smierci L. Podejscie do zagadnienia sprawiedliwosci jest bardzo problematyczne. Niby jak mozemy to osadzic? Bzdurne pytanie. Ten kkto noe szanuje zadnych uczcu innych ludzi, a buduje tylko swoj wlasny obraz jako niewiadomo kogo jest gorszy niz pospolit przestepca. Naprawde przynajmniej jak mial amenzje to byl normalny. Ake moze w tym tkwi pies pogrzebany: wtedy sie tez ne wyroznial tak jak by tego podwiadomie chcial... Ech. Ten mlody detektyw Madtsuda jest oprzynajmniej symptyczny tez.

strzal w dziesiatke. dal sie przechytrzyac, bardzo mi go szkoda. Chociaz w dcinku 17-24 trudno bylo nie ufac Lightowi, bo byl normalny wreszcie i stracil pamiec. Cala reszta anime nie moze byc bardziej irytujaca, chociaz Near jest jeszcze lepszy niz L, ale nie jest tak ciekawy. Wjazdym razie dobrnelam do konca. Odetchnelam z ulga jak sie wreszcie to skonczylo.

hmm interesting, I haven't thought of that. yes, relativity is soo romantic :D I can't wait for the movie. In the meantime I"m reaching an ending to death note. it's a compellig, if tiresome watch. I really like L.Lawliet though. Somehow he's cool As for Yagami Light, I dislike characters like him, if only because I don't think what he does is right. He's using other people for his selfishness. That in itself, aside from the God complex, is annoying for me hence it's difficult to accept him as the main protagonist. But the story is compelling.

Tak przeczytalam jeszcze sobie te ostatnie PM, ktore ci wysyalalm. Chyba troche dziwnie wybrzmialy, mam nadzieje ze nie bedziesz mi miec tego za zle. Szczerze mowiac, jakos zawsze pytania o to gdzie troche mnie draznia, w dodatku ze tak naprawde nie ma realnych ofcjalanych alternatyw dla mieszkancow Europie poza viki, z zawsze wprzy takich pytaniach do glowy mi przychodza najbardziej bezposrednie opdiwedzi, czyli nazwy stron konkretnie. Wiec przerpaszam za dziwny ton, nie mialam na mysli nic zlego. Mam nadzieje ze Ci sprawnie idzie zbieranie danych. Powodzenia :)
