lol. It's a remake. not sure who will play Choi Min Sik'r role though. I don;t think it;s Spike himself, he;s directing I believe :) Yes, except Katherine Heigl is really unlikeable. She's a poor excuse for an actress. Kate Winslet would be better. I just don;t see this story being done in America at all :( Who can do Jung Wo sung;s role? I don;t imagine anyone else.

that's true and this is the very reason why I"m objecting to Spike Lee remaking Oldboy. And there will also be a remake of a moment to remeber..starring..Katherine Heigl of all people! Eh.

take your time, but I rerally like the idea :D Actually I may do one like this myself. It can be a column like: "let's rewrite american movies into Korean" (since they are doing the same!):P I may take on hmm not sure what yet.

:) A film ogladalas? Ja nic, przestawilam sie na anime, nawet nie skonczylam All about my romance, mimo ze calkiem sympatyczny romcom. Masz czasem MAL?

it is hard not to. That's why I am a bit afraid to start it, even if it's Ko Hyung Jung... Well right now I feel more confident in recommending an anime movie. If you have the time, try Wolf Children about a mother struggling to bring up her wolf children and about finding the place where you belong. It's a lovely story. I would also recommend Millenium Actress-it's a genuine adveture through time and an interesting character.

means it's not derivative. I'm looking forward to having a look at gu Family book and especially the queen's classroom, but..I have to say I can;t even finish all about my romance because I've been devoured by anime. I keep discovering stuff that sustain my interest thougb I watch a lot of romcommy shoujo- much better than korean romantic comedies though. Lovely complex is very fun to watch for me. It's about this guy who is short who is friend with a tall girl. they make a comedy duo until one day the girl confesses to him and well he's sort of a prick about it and very dense too, but that's just on the side. the comedy kept me in stitches all the time.

Congratulatuons Farah :) Actually I started with Major and since I found major to be a very comprehensive sports baseball anime (it deals with literally everything: friendship. family drama, some romance as well as lots of baseball) I may not like Cross Game. As for One Outs I heard it's opposite to major but will likely watch it one of these days. From sports anime I really liked major and slam dunk and hungry heart. I also finished watching death note. What a story. I also watched a very interesting time travel ro,ance stein;s gate- it;s very well done. I really loved it, the ambience was great I loved the character and his development. I also watched several very good anime movies, including wolf Children- a story about a mother of wolf cubs and about finding your place to fit in- lovely feelings. I"m about to start watching Monster now. Well it;s good that soratobu is different.

But I am waiting for the movie version of steins; gate at the moment I really want to see it, time travel was so well done - mind boggling0 and romance subplot was really nice too, that really was romance and moreover good character development. In the meantime I actually switched to some movies and later today I think I"ll be ready to start Monster.

Yes it was way silly with the whole story. But better than some magical girl shoujo which feature similar story. It wasn't bad and it felt like a kind of familir story so if one likes shoujo, this would be a relaxing watch. But it could have been better I felt like some things like her development as a deity could have been better presented, as such it felt a little fragmentary and I was missing something from it even if the character banter was relaxing to watch. Even in the romance department, it was perhaps a little too sterotypical. But there was a vibe similar to lovely complex. Oh I didn;t notice there is going to be a movie out of Kyou! I will definitely watch it, I want to see this better developed, though what was there was enough to do mroe than tease you and again I had the lovely complex vibe that i was after, except it was more dramatic. I may check skute inayo later too

I see. there was too much happening for my liking, too much and bephas too fast and in a too dramatic fashion. I am out of drama world myself. I've been watching anime for the past month. The interest is still going strong and change is good in this case. I do fear myself that the more I watch something and know its schemes, the less I will feel stimulated by it and so the lose interest in things.. it's a little depressing to feel boredom like this seeping in. IIn this respect I think I would love to be a child/teenager again for things to seem fresh again.

yeah, I figure it's the first watched, first preferred basis. I will eventually watch it thoough. some day, i;m oretty sure the story will be basically the same and so I believe the anime will have a similar sense of progression. To be honest I tried opening one random episode of the anime already and I actually knew what was happening and where in the story I was. In the meantime I actually may be persuaded to return to dramas if Queen;s classroom will prove to be a worthy remake, but again, it;s a remake. However, Ko Hyung Jung IS a good actress to play the teacher. Happy movie watching, Winnie. Hope you will finds lots of gems :)

Yeah, josei will be more like a good drama. What I meant was I prefer watching shojo anime to romantic comedies and shojou is definitely more like a romcom, so for instance lovely complex, kachou wa maid are romcom shoujos, but they are so much more fun to watch than korean romcoms. I just have a problem with nodame anie because I already watched the drama and in this case I liked the live version. I"m not in a hurry to watch the anime because it's likely the same. I actually tried opening the death note live action and they do try t make everything so faithful to the original that I"m pretty unable to decide to watch anime nodame. it;s probsbly going to be the only time when i think that. usually anime ARE better than the live actions. Death note in particular. Now you;ve intrigued me about Nana, however. :D

Not just yet. I'm mentally preparing myself by watching random things. I just watched a nice movie called Nitaboh about a shimasen player. wonderful traditional music and very nice animation and I also watched several short romcoms (OVAss) Somehow I still feel like watching a few more shoujo before moving to Monster. After monster I will explore some josei titles. There are just so many things but my mood dictates one thing over some other.
