ohhh by the way for a substantial poor man story Sandglass ticks the boxes and feels very authenthic.

It would be interesting to see how you react to them, knowing your preference for the older dramas :) Well have fun exploring :) I seem to be taking on more dramas that I can handle. While waiting for kbs world to update their wonderful life channek I decided to start a saeguk. I thinnk I'll go crazy. It's like a yoyo effecT: slump and absence for a month and now icnreasingly instatiable hunger 0_o Im doomed :P

haha. well she only wants one thing but they have Tae San to consider. I was bothered that Tae san never really had any brotherly scenes with Meahri. Very negligent on the part of the writer.
well happy watching! :)

I'll keep my eyes out. If I ever find those titles, I will let you know. Thank you for sharning. There are a couple of old japanese dramas that I'd LOVE to watch but people seem to think no one would be interested in them. I'll be curious to know what the REALLY good HK dramas can be like because otherwise I don't have any leverage against which to judge the newer ones I watched. I can imagine the shock in terms of quality I'd feel. I like when i experience these kind of shocks because they open my eyes to good quality. Yeah, I used to watch videos on some chinese sites but then they either imposed region restrictions or became terribly slow to use. Even without knowing chinese you can usually find your way because the layout of you-tube like sites is fairly preditable, so at least you can use the
Oh the person is watching and liking Ryoma Den :D AND Jumong. We have something in common right there. I will stalk her profile I think :D Thanks.

He's over 40 and his photo just shows how elegant he is. And he's pretty multi-talented at that too. He likes doing action sequences. Or liked. Like Lee Seo Jin he rarely takes on dramas, right now because he seems to be something of a family man and he has triplets! *_* I once joked with a friend that it would be awesome if all three kids decided to be drama starts. Would make it easier to make twins lost/found stories. I wish you luck with sneaking a peek at work- thats brave XD but I don;t think it will give you a giggle fit like the UTW drama would ;-)He starts off as a lazy no good kind of guy but later he becomes very driven indeed. And there are so many things going on in Jumong. I's really a very strong saeguk. There are several arcs. Let me know if you do take a peek or start it, I'll be curious as to what you think.
Yes, that's what seems to be the case. Will see how it goes, for now things are rather hpstile bt everything is about anticipation. The anticipation creates that sort of tension and you just wait for it to be released in some steamy moment. So far what I've seen on tacyeon doeasn't seem bad to me. LSJ doesn't stay poor for too long though, sorry to burst your bubble but I think I have to say this. Something happens that creates a reversal again and consequently a rather hodstile tension. I won't say more because I"ll just end up spoiling it for you.

XD with a sweet smile. Now I started imagining Chichiri instead of Yushin, you know with that masked smile of his, he makes the perfect chibi character for those interference scenes too :P
No, that reversal is kind of needed. I was referring to their economical station. He was poor, she is rich and so he eventually starts to date her because she the daughter of his mother's bos. Eh it;s complicated from the start. He;s rather distant and cold but I just sense underlying..something. Can't name it yet. For now it seems like he's rather lonely. We shall see. Tacyeona;s character may be kinda interesting. He's like really angry but when it comes to family he seems to have a lot of heart. And the female lead has a spirit. At least for now. Let's see how it goes.
Jumong is a great drama though, if you like rookie characters in particular. It's one korean saeguk that was really well done. It helps that Song Il Gook remsebles a god from ancient Greek myths XD. He's just so...sculpted *_* Yes, I am finding that the episodes for King's Daughter are in fact shorter, which is a relief. BUT I also heard that they would be shortening episodes at some point. Anoither MDL friend told me she read that they have to vut because of budget issues so she was saying that we may expect loss of quality and probably length. I"m starting to wonder whether this the reason.

That's why I felt the whole thing was too dumbed down. Really too bad because the guys had chemostry together, aish. Well at least there is something to look at XD
Well let's not be TOO harsh with Meahri. She has little experience with things but she could cry more..silently, with more grace. She's not crying, she's wailing hysterically! XD

Kim Ha Neul can't act for the world of her. It falls flat for me, totally. I was just rewatching it earlier. Her lines are unconvincing and make her look even more stupid. The most level-headed and even is Park Min Soo, the wife. Se Ra is all right. She acted with Tae San in God of Study too, although in a different capcity. I started to think she likes "crazy" roles. But she isn;t a great actess either. Meahri is still young, mnaybe her acting will improve but her crying and wailing got on my nerves. Even though I still liked her with Yoon.
I disagree. I liked him in What's Up. He had that cool vibe and he did what he could as a teacher..albeit he was a strange one. But I liked him there the most from the dramas I"ve seen so far. It;s just a matter of perspective :)

haha. I think there is a good tension between LSH and Haewon. Very good tension. I think he will open up eventually. I hope. I do wonder though why did LSJ accept this role. There must be something he found interesting. Or is it only because he hapaned to have some free time and this drama happened to turn up? He doeasn;t like to see Hae Won hurt, I think that much he shows. I think he just feels trapped. Or maybe he has some form of autism after all? Maybe he will turn out to be a villain 0_o And what about the sister and what he did to her? he has a cold exterior but I don;t think he;s a bad person and I think he cares. (Could those eyes of his lie?! *_*)
Yes, they ended up together. But i liked UTW ending best anyway. He really worked well with Eugene. My friend is in a relationship with a younger guy. It works out well. :)

Tonbi is the best to come out in recent years. But you could try Mother. It;s about Mother and daughter bonds and the small actess who plays there is phenomenal. Have you tried watching either of the Replys? They have a family slant too.
