He has got a rather towering and domineering presence on screen, especially if he plays serious Generals. I found his presence somehow natural in Sandglass, although he didn't seem quite as imposing.

He was quite the hunk in his prime, too. He still looks good, though.It's just the beard that makes him look his age. Without it he looks younger.

He can charm the socks off me. He was my favourite character in rich Man Poor woman. And I liked how he reunited with Satomi in Koi. In Chase he gave a breathtaking perfomance. Very suave. Someone used the word "stylish" to describe him and I think it definitely fits.

Sounds fascinating indeed. I think I;ll try to find a copy of any of his books. That kind of thing as you describe is the sort of thing I also look for in fiction. The alsmost scary magnetism, it just sounds thrilling.

have you tried bollywood movies? They are about 3 hours long, I think that's long enough.

The soundtrack is lovely. They chose a number of classic favourites for this one, including Stairway to Heaven and Heart of Gold. Stairway to heaven never fails to give me goosebumps regardless. In the context of the drama, it left me with a lingering bitter-sad but also somewhat peaceful feeling

Although the story is rather old and tired in a sense, there is a certain heartbreaking lyricism to it that gives it the power to appeal to sentiments. Actors capable interpretation of their roles contirubtes greatly to it: their characters are sympathethic. It does have the makings of a Greek tragedy.

I'm not familiar with his works. Are his works about untrustworthy or suspicious people?

Don't worry about Kim Ha Neul too much. There are plenty other things in AGD, including the amazing bromance, that you may like. THe four guys are great together. But other than that...I'll be interested to read your review :)

I do plan to watch Norigae; though I"m not sure whether that's going to be credible in itself. A film about whet they themselves do? This I always find a little suspicious.

obawiam sie ze sie zawiodlam na Lee Sung gyun i na scenariusz slaaabeee. Supporting cast z "Pasty" i z czegos jeszcze- ci goscie w "Pasta" byli slaaabiii Pomysly byly fajne ale slabe wykonanie polozylo. Jedyna rzecz ktora mi sie podobala to Lee Sung Min oraz pewna PhD woman ktora sie mu podobala XD fajna sprawa, bo pokazali ze dystans w edukacji mozna pokonac. Lee Sung Min byl fajnym gangsterem. Ale Lee Sung Gyun baaaardzo mnie zawiodl, z reszta scenariusz tez.

I think you will like Goocheun. He's really pretty good. He doesn't say a single line and yet..I think he may be the best actor in all this >< This is where acting really has to shine because you HAVE to act rather than just blurt out lines. For instance, Kim Ha Neul in AGD annoyed me greatly not just because her character is stupid but because she can't act for the world of her. She just speaks lines. They could take a person off the streets and they would do it better probably.

They are contemplating bringing PSH on screen with a drama golden crossing, unless it's been already cast. We will never know for sure what happened so I stopped judging him. His fans are pitiful though. And they really support him so for their sake I hope things weren't as bad as news made it seem. I hope he is worth all that trust and fan worship. But I am more inclined to believe the actress understudy knowing how korean industry treats actresses and women in the whole, to the point that they commit suicide >< But then again...who knows. This story was like a k-drama in itself. I hope all those affected can at least learn from it.

It's difficult to say for certain though. Appearances can be misleading after all and much as I often tell myself that I shouldn't trust what I see, that there is usually more than meets the eye I can't help but escape into this fantasy world where celebrities actually mean what they do. Where white is white and black is black.

Ohhh no you will likely need iossues for Failan, for sure. But the way it was constructed showed that love gives hope and strength, and there is beauty in that and a bit of consolation. I will look forward to discussing it mire with you :) Kee in mind though that Failan occupies very little of screen time as it is predominantly not her story.

certainly dn't like when they do something only for popularity's sake. Like I think one of thise young pop idols stopped a concert to give his fan a wish? sometimes you'd really want them to be sincere. But it seems like exploitation.

What I got out of Failan was a sense of hope, somehow in the darkest moments there is hope and love which can save you from despair. That's why I liked it so much.

King's Daughter seems fine so far. The set up is not bad. And there is this Crown Prince who seems like a just person. There is this mute character as well, he was so nice. So loving and kind. Give me a good character and I'll go melt all over this. The plot is basically like Princess Pearl only Korean style. How are Comrades? :D
