Will do; this drama is really good.
There is so much pain bit I"m starting to really like the leads as they try to figure out what to do and how to live.I'm really glad the drama doesn't moralise by saying that only victims of the crime have the right to suffer.

Reply 1994 is very good. Depends what you like in Japanese dramas. What are you in the mood for? If romance, why not try Pride with Kimu Taku? It;s an older drama but it;s darn good romance. Or maybe Nodame Cantabile, Really good story, no love triangles, just a growth and romance story set to classical music to boot. It;s really excellent. If you like family dramas, try Tonbi it;s an amazingly sensistive story about a father and son, very emotional. If you like a thriller, maybe Maou will be to your taste.

Nope, not really. I prefer the completed stories that Asian dramas offer. I just hate multiple seasons. I also have an intense dislike for sequels. Asian dramas offer a far better format. I do like some British Tv, though, but I mostly watched Jane Austen adaptations lol. Again, completed stories with no sequels. I only look for those, predominantly. Exceptions are some really good old shows provided that they are finished, no longer airing and have a reasonably satisfying finale. I never watch any currently airing shows. Maybe one day when the Good Doctor finally comes to an end I'll be inclined to marathon it all :D

lol. don;t apologise. Actually I use spoilers wherever I want to signal to people that the message is private and meant for the reader only. And also because of spoilers. People probably still click, but at their risk. I sometimes doscuss drama spoilers with people so it;s their fault if they look. Curiosity kills the cat. Spoiler tag was used, so only they are to blame if they look. It doasn't matter if the message is long or short. Put spoiler tags wherever you are writing drama spoilers first and foremost. People hate spoilers and spoiler tag is there to use it to prevent those who read your comments from getting angry at you for spoiling them.

LOL Will do. After I finish Soredemo. Amazing drama.
I see, well maybe it;s good then. I know he;s a good actor so I" sure the drama will have its followers. I'll probably watch it at some point. I heard, it;s because of the Olympics. Well. After the games are over you will have the nirmal puppy schedule back. Just bear with the Olympics. And maybe that will give time for the puppy to find his way ?

That sounds very promising. You know how yo tempt people into watching things :D But for the moment i decided to take on Soredemo Ikite. The first episode made a huge impression on me. The emotional charge is incredible. And now I"m wondering how this is going to unfold.
As for PM, I would not call you judgmental. I think your reasons are substantial and reasonable. I have not seen enough of the episodes and how she interracted with the kids in the short times that she was there, that is why I am so calm about it. I agree though that someone who leaves expecially her children behind should be shown at least having to try hard. We can;t all be forgiving, though I'm sure the youngest children, sweet as they are, may be more inclined to forgive than the older boy. There is also the matter of her brother who was incredibly pushy from what I;ve seen.

I removed AGd from dropped list..again :_: I am so conflicted about this stupid drama. The females were so ridiculous but the guys were pretty good and the bromance thing. But then I can;t just like it :_; because I am really bothered by the female characters.

That's good to hear. I like people who are talented but even mre people who just do their own thing and that's it.
I need to wathc prime and minister closely but I think I would still justify the ending, with the wife plot and everything, simply by saying that it was giving the Priome Minister a pish to resolve his emotional impotence. The fact that Da Jung left is great because she had to give him room to actually maybe start caring a little and start afresh on different grounds with him. I liked the final scene. It suggested a new "Arabian Nights" was being written, maybe a happier one, since the healing was taking place. I think maybe the wife is important for this. But i need to watch more closely. But still I"m pretty sure I will be one to justify the ending even on closer watch.

I had a very ambivalent attitude to Death Note. I liked hiw it was a cat and mouse game but I hated Light. I am not keen on anti-heroes especially anti0heroes with a God complex. Watching Death Note was a pain because of that. I loved L though, the shar cookie that he was. Well there was a moment I liked Lightp when he had note-amnesia as part of his clever plan but other than that I wish he;d just go to hell. He had everyone fooled, the bastard but I felt relieved he lost.
Code Geass not yet but I am planning to watch it too-this won;t give me such a hard time will it? Ah heel, even if it does, I will watch it. It's kind of appealing. Death note was appealing too in all these tensions but it;s just I couldn't watch it disapassionately without hating Light, but on the other hand my brain kind of appreciated it too...it's complicated!
Aww. I liked how the special adopted a different perspective and showed how Densha affected others.

I would not be able to take gore in excess. Some blood is fine but not the excess that the genre of gory movies seems to promote. But then in general I have some promot reactions of disgust with some things related to human body. There was the scene in Memories of Mirder where I felt sick because of what was being taken out of the dead body, for instance. I guess that's why I never chose medicine, though my mom is a doctor and everyone around me expected me to study medicine. I just felt I probably would not be able to deal with such things.
Yes, I finished suzuki Sensei. It's a bit weird and rather open-minded about things. It;s a good drama for debates though, considering the nature of the problem it deals with. It was kind of fresh and for Japanese to talk ooenly about issues like that in a drama is well not exactly new but this one was kind pushing new limits I think. I liked it thogugh because it was thought provoking, maybe even thought provocative. Very different than a lot of standard school dramas.
