It;s all right, Ranchi, I will try the library again. I can't use anything beyond what I"m using and I could nt find it on the sites that I can actually use right now. So far Lee Jung Jae's role screen time has been limited so I don;t know whether that will change or not. But I really liked what I've seen of him so far, as little as it was. Truth be told I WAS hoping and still AM hoping his role will be more major later on. I do want to see more of him myself. I will also ket you know if he is a main role as MDL lists him to be, or not.

The leads so far are Choi Min Soo (he looks so young and hunky in this drama!) and Park Sang Won, at least so far, because they are the two friends. Ko Hyung Jung is great as always, she's so natural on screen. For me it's always a pleasure to watch her.

absolutely. The drama is very humane; it's postively one of the best japanese dramas I've seen.

So far I think it's pretty authenthic and nothing like cotemporary dramas of this sort. There is more to it than romance, which by the way so far (I'm just finishing episode 5) has been very little of. I let you know when I finish it how I feel about it but it's very interesting so far and feels very substantial too.

Also, it;s interesting but you have to watch the first few episodes VERY carefully. They move back and forth in time WITHOUT signalling it in any way but they want to introduce the main players their backgrounds. It;s really good bit you have to follow very closely. Unlike most "action" "political: dramasd, this one is for "adults", that's how I feel about it. But it;s difficult without understanding what was happening. It's possible to draw some conclusions but it will help to know a liiitttle more.

Yes, I think the drama is one to rewatch in a while too. For now, I've dug up Sandglass and it;s an interesting and rather involving drama. It stirkes me as one of a different kind than most done nowadays in this genre. Kind of substsntial. Hsve a nice day :)

I feel that Sandglass is in a while different league than dramas nowadays. It feels very authenthic but I need to read up on events as the narrative is very tightly woven into 70s and 80s events. I"ll send you a PM too.

it seems I won;t get a hold of either part of the trilogy anytime soon unless I buy it. The library has the original Ring novel so i may read the book instead first I think. Although maybe they have the DVD unlisted in the onlie catalogue so I"ll be checking it out even so, How are you?

Futaba byla tez niemsaowita i jej ojciec. Kouhei troche taki tylko jako dodatek ale cierpial na swo sposob. Glowne napiecie oscylaowalo miedzy Futaba, Hiroki, mama, ojcem i Fumya. I jeszcze wlascielem sadu.

I loved the particular moment whne they talked about loving someone as giving someone a soul. But I think there was a fear that this could come between them, no matter how accepting others may be of the situation. Some thing are an impossible barrier. The mother's monologye in episode 5 was so beautful. she started to heal from that point on and her confrontation with Futaba's mother in the final ep was also amazing. Amazing people and humanity at its best is in this drama.

OhhhhFutaba's dad had such an effortless presence in all this, too, it was amazing to watch. So guilt ridden. So much pain, but he tried to take it all on himself for too long. There is something about that actor. I also liked the Chiba orchard owner and how he tried not be judgmental. Everyone tries to give fumyia a chance, it's really uplifting to see. He was even able to find love, an accepting love. I felt bad that it couldn't work out after all but with his autusm the problems would likely never go away, much as he himself would try. It;s riewally difficult to have the strength to accept the circumstances surroundinga person like Fumiya. Really reallky difficult. It's so much easier to just be judgmental.
